Lodi City Council Member Arrested on Voter Fraud Charges Related to 2020 Election – Stash of Ballots Found at His Home, Over 70 Fake Registrations Linked to His Name

On Thursday morning, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office announced new charges against city councilman Shakir Khan who was already facing criminal charges, that are related to the 2020 election.

Khan was accused of using fraud to obtain his city council seat.

Police found numerous sealed and completed ballots when the searched his home on unrelated charges.

Police also found nearly 70 names registered to Shakir Khan’s house, email or phone number.

Khan is accused of undermining and violating the election process in Lodi, California.

Jovan Pulitzer posted the local sheriff’s press conference announcing the charges against Shakir Khan.

KCRA reported:

A judge granted Shakir Khan’s release on his own recognizance on Friday after the Lodi council member appeared in court a day after his arrest on election fraud charges. Khan was wearing an orange jumpsuit and seemingly in good spirits, showing thumbs up to the members of the media and pumping his fists in the air as he walked into a Stockton courtroom. His attorney Allen Sawyer advocated for his release so Khan can return home with his family while ongoing investigations and proceedings in the case continue. Friends and family members calling for his release came out to show their support. Khan faces multiple felony charges that stem from the 2020 election. He is accused of stashing 41 ballots at his home. Investigators also say he registered 23 people to vote at his home and that his email and phone number were used to register 47 others. Body camera footage showed voters telling detectives how Khan allegedly pressured them to vote for him and how he allegedly falsified voter registration documents.

FEMA Reverses Decision, Will Deploy 'Assistance Teams' To East Palestine Following Chemical Disaster

One day after the Biden administration rejected Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine's request for federal assistance in the aftermath of a derailment of a train hauling toxic chemicals, the governor tweeted late Friday evening that the Feds have reversed course in their decision and will deploy resources to East Palestine as soon as Saturday.

"Following further discussions with FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency] tonight, they will be deploying federal resources to East Palestine," Gov. DeWine tweeted.

The governor and FEMA released this joint statement:

"FEMA and the State of Ohio have been in constant contact regarding emergency operations in East Palestine. U.S. EPA and Ohio EPA have been working together since day one. Tomorrow, FEMA will supplement federal efforts by deploying a Senior Response Official along with a Regional Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) to support ongoing operations, including incident coordination and ongoing assessments of potential long term recovery needs."

The U-turn comes as FEMA Ohio told the state government on Thursday that Palestine wasn't eligible for disaster assistance to help with the clean-up effort in the toxic spill and controlled burn-off that has resulted in an environmental disaster.

Kamala Harris accuses Russia of committing crimes against humanity in war against Ukraine, vows that justice will be served

Vice President Kamala Harris accused Russia of committing crimes against humanity during its war against Ukraine. The vice president vowed that those who are complicit in the crimes would be held accountable.

"In the case of Russia’s actions in Ukraine, we have examined the evidence, we know the legal standards, and there is no doubt," Harris said at the annual Munich Security Conference on Saturday. "These are crimes against humanity.”

"The United States has formally determined that Russia has committed crimes against humanity," Harris continued. "And I say to all those who have perpetrated these crimes, and to their superiors, who are complicit in these crimes, you will be held to account."

"No nation is safe in a world where one country can violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of another, where crimes against humanity are committed with impunity, where a country with imperialist ambitions can go unchecked," Harris proclaimed.

Harris accused Russia of committing "horrendous atrocities and war crimes."

She added, "Let us all agree — on behalf of all the victims, both known and unknown, justice must be served.”

"Let us renew our commitment to accountability," Harris said. "Let us renew our commitment to the rule of law."

Harris wrote on Twitter, "The United States will support Ukraine for as long as it takes. We will always stand on the side of freedom, democracy, and justice."

Tracking fentanyl’s deadly path from China to Mexico to ODs in America

Fentanyl and other synthetic opiates were responsible for more than 71,000 fatal overdoses in the United States during 2021, according to the California Department of Health.

There is good reason for that grim statistic: Fentanyl, which often gets mixed into heroin or cocaine, not to mention bootlegged Oxycontin and Xanax pills, is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times more powerful than morphine. It’s also cheaper to produce than either of those drugs.

In 2022, a record-setting 14,700 pounds of fentanyl shipments was seized by US Customs and Border Protection agents; this year alone, there’s already been 12,500 pounds snagged. But that’s still just a fraction of what enters the US. Here’s how it gets from the other side of the world to America’s main streets.

Step 1: China to west coast of Mexico

Chemists in Chinese laboratories produce powdered chemicals, such as 4-Piperidone, known as “precursors” that serve as fentanyl’s building blocks.

According to Ben Westhoff, author of “Fentanyl, Inc.: How Rogue Chemists Created the Deadliest Wave of the Opioid Epidemic,” the Chinese labs maintain veneers of legitimacy and stay within China’s laws. But the bosses know that the chemicals are illicit elsewhere. “They showed me the fake packaging,” Westhoff, who toured labs in Wuhan, told The Post. “They put the precursors into boxes that look like they contain dog food and ship them to Mexico, usually by sea.”

Precursors arriving by boat come in on the western coast of Mexico, where cartels including Sinaloa and Jalisco New Generation, battle to control the ports. “There is so much corruption,” said Westhoff. “A couple hundred dollars may be enough to make authorities look the other way as chemicals are unloaded and shipped to the cartel-controlled labs.”

Approximate value per kilogram: $200

Step 2: Northern Mexico

“The labs tend to be in the north,” Congressman David Trone (D-Md.) told The Post. “That puts them closer to the US border.”

But Sam Quinones, author of “The Least of Us: True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth,” told The Post: “‘Lab’ is a glorified word for what goes on in Mexico. It’s more like a backyard barbecue. You need some training, but this is not the Rubik’s cube of chemistry.”

Brewing the precursor powder in pots over open flames outdoors, cooks wear masks and stand downwind of the operations so as not to breathe in fumes. Some work in cattle fields, hidden by the cows. The drugs get diluted, mixed with other chemicals and kept as a powder or pressed into pills that resemble pharmaceuticals or candy pellets.

Approximate value per kilogram: $3,000 to $5,000 (depending on purity)

Step 3: Crossing the border

Drug dealers stash their wares in trucks, often mixed in with produce or other products heading for hubs across the US — including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta and New York.

Hunter Biden’s Art Dealer Stonewalls GOP Probe into Art Sales to Anonymous Buyers

Hunter Biden’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, refused on Thursday to provide the House Oversight Committee requested disclosures into his art sales to anonymous buyers.

Hunter, an attorney and former lobbyist who is under investigation for tax fraud, has reportedly sold about 12 paintings to anonymous buyers during his father’s term as President of the United States. The price tags of artwork are reported to be $500,000 each.

In January, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) requested Bergès testify before Congress and turn over relevant information about the art sales. Comer told Breitbart News in 2022 he is 95 percent sure the buyers of Hunter’s art are Chinese buyers, potentially implicating President Biden.

On Thursday, Bergès, who has a history of doing business in China, told Comer through his newly hired attorney, that he will not provide information related to Hunter’s art sales because the sales are intended to be secret — the very issue in which Comer has raised concerns.

“In light of these considerations, providing the documents and information requested in your letter seemingly would defeat the efforts of Mr. Biden and the White House to avoid the ‘serious ethical concerns’ that you raise,” William Pittard told Comer. “Mr. Berges hopes that you and Mr. Biden can resolve that tension.”

According to Pittard’s LinkedIn, his legal specialty is “Congressional and White Collar Investigations.” Pittard is a partner at a Washington, DC, law firm, KaiserDillon.

The art market is known for corrupt and shady practices. A Senate subcommittee report detailed in 2020 how the art market serves as a vehicle for money laundering.

“Why would anyone pay Hunter Biden top dollar for artwork that is arguably worthless? He’s no Pablo Picasso,” Comer has stated. “Foreign adversaries, including China, have used transactions involving sham art sales to launder money & evade sanctions.”

Hunter’s art scandal comes as the congressman is probing into Hunter for violations, including wire fraud and money laundering. Those investigations have caused Comer to seek Hunter’s bank records in which 150 suspicious wire transfers have been flagged by U.S. banks regarding Biden family business deals in foreign nations, such as China.

In 2018 and 2020, Breitbart Senior Contributor and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer published Secret Empires and Profiles in Corruption. Each book hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and exposed how Hunter Biden and Joe Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 to China before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China less than two weeks after the trip. Schweizer’s work also uncovered the Biden family’s other vast and lucrative foreign deals and cronyism.

Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’s investigative work at the New York Post on the Hunter Biden “laptop from Hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing even to have a 10 percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.

East Palestine Mayor: FEMA Help ‘a Little Late’ — HHS Should Do Studies and We Need Testing for at Least a Decade

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” East Palestine, Ohio Mayor Trent Conaway reacted to FEMA sending federal resources to the city by stating that while he’s glad they’re coming, “it’s a little late.” He also called for testing for at least the next decade and for the Department of Health and Human Services to start doing studies.

Conaway said, “I guess they’re finally showing up, but I think it’s a little late. I’m glad they’re coming, but I think they should have been here long before this.”

He added, “They’ve told us since there’s a responsible party, this isn’t FEMA’s job, they’re more of a natural disaster-type agency. Our residents need help. Norfolk Southern so far has been paying for everything, but if that stops, we’re definitely going to need federal support, and, in my opinion, they should have been early with clinics and stuff setting up things for our village residents.”

Conaway concluded, “As far as I’m concerned, they should have to test for a minimum over the next ten years anybody who wants a test. And we need to get the HHS in here and start doing some studies and make — document everything so we have data-driven evidence about our residents.”

India slams George Soros for his controversial 'regime change' remarks

India on Friday (February 17) slammed financier George Soros for his attempt to undermine the democratic structure of the nation. The ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said that Soros' comments are not just an attempt to hurt India's image, he also talks of "regime change".

While speaking during the Munich Security Conference on Thursday, Soros made controversial remarks aimed at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said Modi and business tycoon Adani are close allies; their fate is intertwined" and the troubles faced by the businessman would "significantly weaken Modi’s stranglehold on India’s federal government" and "open the door to push for much-needed institutional reforms".

While responding to the claims, Smriti Irani, who is the minister for women and child development, told reporters at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office: "A foreign power at the centre of which is a man named George Soros has announced that he will hurt India’s democratic structure."

"He has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be his main target. He has also announced that he will help build a system in India that will protect his interests, not India’s,” Irani added.

She said, "This is not just an attempt to hurt India’s image, if you listen to him carefully, he talks of regime change. India has always defeated foreign powers whenever it was challenged and will continue to defeat them in the future too."

Canada issues new sanctions against Haitians, will deploy Navy ships around Haiti coast

Another former Haitian president has been sanctioned by Canada as the country’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau, announced Thursday that his government will deploy Royal Canadian Navy vessels to conduct surveillance, gather intelligence and maintain a maritime presence off the Haitian coast in the coming weeks to help the country’s struggling police force fight heavily armed gangs.

Jocelerme Privert, a former senator and interior minister who led the country’s most recent transition as president, was added to the names of members of Haiti’s “economic and political elite” accused of using their influence and resources to help armed Haitian gangs and fuel instability.

Canada also said the country will sanction Salim Succar, the chief of staff for former prime minister Laurent Lamothe, who had himself already been sanctioned by the Ottawa government. Lamothe has vehemently denied the allegations and taken the government of Canada to court. He was sanctioned along with former Haitian president Michel Martelly and prime minister Jean-Henry Céant in November.

Trudeau did not say what evidence his government had against either Succar or Privert. Privert became interim president in 2016 and oversaw the elections that brought the late President Jovenel Moïse to power, and had been considered a prospective candidate in a future Haitian presidential race. Privert did not respond to a Miami Herald request for comment.

“Canada has long recognized that much of the instability in Haiti comes from a small number of powerful lead families who are fomenting instability and financing violence for their own gains at terrible costs to the Haitian people,” Trudeau said at an afternoon press conference in Nassau, Bahamas, where he was ending a visit to the 44th regular meeting of leaders of the Caribbean Community, CARICOM. “That is why from the very beginning we have stepped up on sanctions.

“Until the Haitian elites and leadership are held to account for their role in this horrific crisis in Haiti, we will not be able to deal with it,” he added. “We have to get to the root causes.”

Trudeau first announced the sanctions earlier in the day as he addressed the gathering of Caribbean leaders. He noted that to date his government has issued “robust” targeted sanctions against 17 individuals who are accused of helping gangs in Haiti.

On Thursday, the Biden administration, which previously issued financial sanctions against four members of the Haitian Senate, also announced on Thursday that it was imposing visa restrictions against five individuals and seven family members. Unlike with sanctions, the United States doesn’t make public the names of people subject to State Department visa bans.

“This action sends a clear message of our continued commitment to root out corruption and impact the behavior of bad actors whose influence underpins the lawlessness in Haiti,” U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement. “Our actions today demonstrate that there are consequences for those instigating violence and unrest in the country.”

‘Vicious, heinous and cruel’: Ex-JBLM soldier sentenced for child sex crimes in the Philippines

A former soldier at Joint Base Lewis-McChord was sentenced Thursday to 22 years in prison for child sex crimes deemed “vicious, heinous and cruel” by the federal judge overseeing his case.

Moeun Yoeun, 40, an ex-staff sergeant at the military installation southwest of Tacoma, pleaded guilty in August to engaging in sexual acts with at least six children in the Philippines in exchange for money and using adults and kids in that country to recruit more than a dozen children to produce pornography, according to a news release from the Department of Justice.

Yoeun’s crimes occurred over several years and he admitted to prosecutors that he had threatened young girls with death if they refused his sexual assaults, the DOJ said.

“Mr. Yoeun weaponized his position of trust as a noncommissioned officer in the United States Army, to sexually exploit and cause irreversible trauma to impoverished girls in the Philippines,” U.S. Attorney Nick Brown said in a statement.

Yoeun, who is from Steilacoom, will be on federal supervision for 15 years upon his release and will also be required to register as a sex offender, according to the DOJ.

The case was part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 by the DOJ to fight child sexual exploitation. The FBI and Army federal law enforcement investigated the case with the aid of the Philippine National Police.

CDC updated the toxicological profile of Vinyl Chloride in January 2023 to justify CARDIAC issues of the poisonous substance

es, that’s another amazing coincidence…

The CDC just updated the toxilogical profile of Vinyl Chloride in january 2023… See the two versions (2006 and 2023) below…

Here’s a major change found by one of the reader of the newsletter!

‘And now GO to page 71 of the old and page 42 of the new ‘safety’ profile:

in 2006, quote:

‘At high concentrations (>30,000 ppm), vinyl chloride was been shown to sensitize the heart to epinephrine, resulting in cardiac arrhythmias in dogs (Clark and Tinston 1973).

No histopathological changes in the heart were noted in guinea pigs exposed o 400,000 ppm of vinyl chloride for 30 minutes (Mastromatteo et al. 1960).’

in 2023, quote:

‘At high concentrations (>150,000 ppm), vinyl chloride was shown to sensitize the heart to epinephrine, resulting in cardiac arrhythmias in dogs (Carr et al. 1949).

‘No histopathological changes in the heart were noted in guinea pigs exposed to 400,000 pm of vinyl chloride for 30 minutes (Mastromatteo et al. 1960).’

And NOW the 2023 version justifies CARDIAC issues of vinyl chloride in new added section, quote:

‘This was demonstrated in a dog study where the EC50 for cardiac sensitization for vinyl chloride was determined to be 50,000 ppm (Clark and Tinston 1973).

‘Cardiac sensitization by halogenated hydrocarbons generally occurs at very high air concentrations (0.5–90%) when the compounds were tested as anesthetic agents in experimental studies (Brock et al. 2003). Therefore, it appears unlikely that individuals exposed to low levels of vinyl chloride will experience these effects.‘

Changing definitions or deleting websites are the new ways the elites are using to cover up their evil agenda… Was this Ohio’s Chernobyl intentional?

Wisconsin governor announces expanded absentee voting ahead of 2024 election

State is launching series of election reforms to “protect voting rights."

Wisconsin will move to expand absentee voting throughout the state ahead of the sure-to-be-contentious 2024 election, part of a rash of voting policies the state will alter or develop prior to that race.

Democratic Gov. Tony Evers said in a news release on Friday that the state as part of its voting reforms would be “eliminating the restriction on how soon a person may complete an absentee ballot in-person, making in person absentee voting more accessible.”

Among the other rules the state will be changing includes one that will allow voters to use a municipality’s voting facilities “if the voter has been a resident of that location for at least ten consecutive days before an election.”

Evers’s administration will also supply the Wisconsin Elections Commission with nearly $175,000 in order to facilitate automatic voter registration throughout the state.

“These investments will help ensure eligible Wisconsinites can exercise their fundamental right to vote and that our local partners have the resources they need to continue administering elections safely, efficiently, and securely,” Evers said in the news release.
