A helium filled balloon including the heavier rubber outer core doesn't get pulled down by "gravity" or anything else. It rises. The reason is because helium gas is less dense than the surrounding air gas. So it floats seeking equilibrium. It's that simple. Replace gravity with density and you too can be smarter than Fig Newton.
No one is infallible and beyond being wrong. And being questioned. Maybe he blamed gravity for his money heading south. 🤔
