That goes way back. No autocorrection or any external printer involved. You typed until the little bell range and with your left hand you moved that lever handle on the top right of the typewriter and the roller shifted the paper up one line. You made a typo? You used 'white-out' and typed in the correct letters. It was a bitch to get roller just right so they would line up. Maleanon elected to take a typing class in 11th grade. Thought it would be useful some day. Was the only boy in the class. Tested out at 45 words/minute.
