What is a "PULITZER"?

What does it COST?

WHO is "Sy" Hirsch?

WHO is "Sy" Hirsch, REALLY?

WHAT was the"My Lai Massacre"?

WHY were the American G.I.s returning from Vietnam called "BABYKILLERS"?

(Maybe someone should ask "Sy")

WHY were we there in the FIRST PLACE?

WHAT ELSE is "Sy" known for reporting on?

"Sy" sure GETS AROUND!

ALWAYS in the RIGHT PLACE, at the RIGHT TIME!

For MORE THAN 50 YEARS!

HOW DOES HE DO IT???

[KISSINGER]

DIG DIG DIG!!!

You are partially right.

But the US had NO BUSINESS being there.

The "Gulf of Tonkin 'incident'" was BS.

And the majority of the South Vietnamese could not be trusted, and embraced communism.

Everything about America involvement in Vietnam was wrong.

All good points.

M-14 was/is superior to the M-16, IMO.

First batch of M-16s were GARBAGE.

M-16 A1 was much better. Plated parts, the right ammo/powder charge, and improved and made-available cleaning kits were a game-changer.

Manpower was done BACKWARDS.

NO GOOD REASON to have draftees there.

All poorly managed.

Black pajamas and sandals with AK-47s just kept coming, no matter how many we wounded or killed. NVA, better trained and equipped, knew when to "dee-dee mao".

Lots of echoes in the Middle East.

I hear it in Ukraine now too.

STAY AWAY.
