To save the most money, stay away from the "health care system". I think the top cause of bankruptcy in the US are medical bills (not sure). If the "system" will kill you, what's the point? One way your are just dead, the other you are dead and your family is bankrupt. God grant me the mercy of a good exit from this earth.

Speak for yourself. I quit my job fair and square when I saw that being "employed" is like slavery without the "benefits" of a roof, food, clothing and shelter. In fact, when you are "employed" the infamous "they" want to install you with a kill switch instead of letting you out to pasture.
A Russian exchange student I was acquainted with many years ago, said it best when we ate at fast food restaurants and she saw the bathroom signs. In American there are 3 genders: Male, female and "employee".
