James O’Keefe OUT at Project Veritas

Project Veritas’ Executive Director Daniel Strack last Wednesday released a statement on James O’Keefe’s status with the organization.

Last Wednesday New York Magazine reported that James O’Keefe was placed on paid leave from Project Veritas and will be taking a few weeks of “well-deserved PTO.”

“Through a Project Veritas spokesman, Strack later released a statement on behalf of the organization. “Like all newsrooms at this stage, the Project Veritas Board of Directors and Management are constantly evaluating what the best path forward is for the organization,” the statement read in part.” New York Mag reported last week.

Project Veritas donors last week sent a cease and desist letter to the Board accusing them of stepping afoul.

The donors demanded James O’Keefe be reinstated as as CEO of the organization.

Daniel Strack released an update after public outrage over what appeared to be an attempt to oust James O’Keefe from the organization he founded.

“A few weeks ago, a number of our staff members provided leadership with some verbal feedback describing real management concerns regarding the treatment of people and our internal process,” the statement read.

“This prompted the board to solicit feedback from additional staff members, and that internal letter was leaked. The narrative that is being portrayed by referencing this letter is patently false. James has not been removed from Project Veritas. Nowhere in that letter was there ever a suggestion to remove James from the organization.”

Reaction was strong among those opposed to Americans giving Ukraine a blank check to defend itself from Russia’s invasion while Biden allows the U.S. to be invaded at the southern border, with observations of “America last!” and ‘Biden is in Ukraine, Trump is heading to Ohio’. President Trump announced he will visit East Palestine, Ohio on Wednesday to support the people affected by the toxic train wreck earlier this month. While in Kyiv, Biden announced a new arms package for Ukraine.

Today on our President’s Day, Joe Biden, the President of the United States chose Ukraine over America, while forcing the American people to pay for Ukraine’s government and war. I can not express how much Americans hate Joe Biden.”

“President’s Day 2023. Zelenskyy can’t even wear a tie as he greets the President of the United States. He gladly takes our money in sweat shirts and t-shirts, but Biden is dressed up. So insulting. America Last!!!”

“Biden didn’t go to East Palestine, Ohio on President’s Day. He went to Ukraine, a NON-NATO nation, whose leader is an actor and is apparently now commanding our United States military to world war. We must impeach this America Last fool before it’s too late.”

Biden makes weapons pledge in Kiev

The US is promising another $500 million in military aid to Ukraine, including additional rockets and anti-armor weapons

Washington is readying another major military aid package for Kiev that will include more artillery ammunition, more javelin missiles, anti-armor systems and air-surveillance radars, President Joe Biden announced during his trip to Kiev on Monday. The surprise visit comes nearly a year after Moscow launched its military offensive in the neighboring state.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Biden said Washington has led a coalition that provided “unprecedented” support for Kiev.

“Together, we have committed nearly 700 tanks, thousands of armored vehicles, 1,000 artillery systems, more than two million rounds of artillery ammunition, more than 50 advanced … rocket systems,” Biden said.

He added that this newest US military aid package would be worth “another half a billion dollars” and will include “artillery ammunition for howitzers, more javelins, anti-armor systems, air surveillance radars” and more.

Washington would later this week unveil new sanctions, he said, targeting “elites and companies that are trying to evade or backfill Russia’s war machine.”

Russia sent troops into Ukraine last February, citing the need to protect the people of Donbass and Kiev’s failure to implement the 2014-2015 Minsk peace accords. Washington has since been one of Ukraine’s main backers.

According to the Pentagon, the US provided more than $27.4 billion in security assistance to Kiev between February 24, 2022 and January 20, 2023.

The Kremlin has repeatedly warned that the flow of foreign arms will not change the course of the conflict and that all equipment would be treated as legitimate targets by Russian forces.

Russia has also accused Ukraine of using Western-supplied weapons to attack civilians. Around 5,000 people were killed in Donbass and nearly 9,000 wounded since 2014, Aleksandr Bastrykin, the head of Russia’s Investigative Committee, said on Monday.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls For ‘National Divorce,’ Says Red States Need To Secede

Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted Monday that the country needs a “national divorce” between red states and blue states.

“We need a national divorce. We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government,” Greene tweeted. “Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”

This isn’t the first time Greene has suggested splitting the United States, asking her Twitter followers in an October poll whether America should “have a national divorce.”

Of those who voted, 47.7% said “no, stay together,” while 43% said “yes, by R&D states.” Less than 10% were undecided.

Other lawmakers have made similar suggestions, with the Texas GOP floating the idea of seceding from the United States after the Supreme Court would not overturn the 2020 election.
