Doesn't read like "secession" to me. Makes total sense. 50 different states, 50 "shades" of state government (with small Federal). Take your pick.
Not sure what Marjorie Taylor Greene meant by "divorce" but the Federal government is possibly the problem. If the Federal government didn't rip off all the states and then send, in partisan and controlling fashion varying types and amounts of "federal money" each state's policies would be like smaller laboratories of freedom. What works would shine and what doesn't could be stopped before it became a cancer to the whole country.
