It may be subject to biodegradation under anaerobic conditions such as exists in flooded soil and groundwater. If released to water, vinyl chloride will rapidly evaporate.
Why does my water have rainbow colors?
Simply put, the thin layer of oil floating on top of the water refracts the light which then bounces back up off the water underneath, splitting the light rays creating a pool of rainbow color.
