Rep Curt Weldon testimony about the US Army SOF Able Danger investigation.

https://irp.fas.org/congress/2002_cr/h052102.html

The most interesting thing is he kept insisting that the material that was "destroyed" by the US Mil was all open source intelligence.

Then they rolled out some charts that were 'basically early versions of' Mind Map software.

Weldon excerpt

In 2000, special forces command built

another mini version of that capability. And in 2000 they briefed

General Shelton telling him to take out 5 cells of bin Laden's network.

All of that activity could have prevented or helped to prevent 9-11

from ever occurring. I challenge my colleagues, Mr. Speaker, to review

the facts. I challenge the media to report the truth.

Before Able Danger apparently this 'open source' data mining surfaced some information about China stealing IP from Stanford Univ.

[Anyway, I am finding it interesting that "we" are in this same model of OSINT here on qresearch. Maybe this is what we are missing - putting a map together?]

One other thing, obviously this concept of putting all the pieces together took over when Palantir came into the mix a few years back.

Again, that was another 'Special Forces' geared program that now is being sold and used by DHS and others around the world.

[So are we supposed to be mimicking this concept in OSINT, i wonder if we put all the posts in a mind map what would happen?]
