If you replace "God" with "The Lord" then that passage makes perfect sense.
The Lord = The King = The Master of the Slave Plantation and it's hierarchical structure.
The Throne of the UK sits in The Lord's Chamber, in the House of Lords. The KJV was written by King Charles's 10x great-grandfather King James, and because of the words in THAT book, Charles Stuart is now the head of the Church of England, that believes the KJV is the literal word of God that made "Charles" an absolute dictator, er "Royal Monarch".
It's maddening.
That's what I meant when I said "dividing the world into good & evil. Invoking "God" while expressing some bullshit moral outrage about X but are perfectly fine with the hypocrisy of Y.
One of the first stories in the bible tells us about how all of mankind's ills are from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
