Takes some digging to get the gist of it, but it seems that some clinical trials are "synthetic". Some Twitter folks are tying together the fakeness as well as the digital data grab. If I understand correctly, once you gather enough data say on a group of voters you could not only do highly targeted manipulations of the voters but you could figure out how to get your desired "election" results. Eyes on, seems to tie together a lot: Cambridge Analytica, Voter Rolls (ERIC in US?) and "digital twins".

I'd say yes and no to that. A lot of people, in the absence of healthy food, should just eat less. Many problems solved that way.
