Evolution is changes over generations.

Directed Evolution is forced changes over generations while choosing characteristics desired.

Directed Evolution would be just ONE method to create gain of function, which is a result, not a method.

You can do Directed Evolution, and FAIL to get ANY gain of function in the evolving research subject as a result, but, you still went through the scientific process of trying.

I would say the directed evolution process is done through rapid evolution using many generations, as fast as reproduction of a species is possible?

In the case of bacteria, or virus, this generational reproduction can be hours, even minutes, between offspring. How fast does yeast create more yeast when you make bread for instance?

Another way to do gain of function is through actual cut and splice, take Crisper, for instance.

To me, this would NOT be directed evolution, but direct intelligent design by biotechnological means or, biotech.

So, yeah. Either this Mike Gill guy is a fail, for bad reporting, by not looking into the scientific terms, even if the definitions ARE being changed as we speak.

If James IS hanging on to any information he has not released yet there are two questions need asked before there is a problem IMHO.

1) Is the information a working dead mans switch?

2) Is the information something that has to be vetted with a second source before release?

Remember how James treated the diary?

Any responsible truth seeking life risking journo understands the value of both of the above. Both of the above would apply to all journalists mentioned by this Mike Gill character making accusations.

Pfizer would have reason to hate all of the Journalists mentioned. They all covered the COVID realities, and many of these same journalists, are the reason that Americans are not dead in much larger numbers right now.

Pfizer would not be happy just taking the James out of the "Veritas".

James, as a human, has too much power in his reputation, too much love from his supporters, and too much promise in his future.

He can literally re-create project Veritas, by another name, rapidly, with his followers.

Pfizer can not afford that.
