My comment on this is completely unrelated to the prior post or the very interesting video…except that something said made me think of something very different and disturbing.
From 8:00-9:40 he talks about how a body that is extensively tortured goes into shock and the red blood cells break down and the liver secretes bilirubin which has the effect of making the blood stay red forever. I hated to think about this in the midst of this amazing video, but as soon as I heard this I immediately thought of the red shoes. Are they staining the leather with tortured blood to make the red shoes? I really hope not.
