TOBACCO?

It wasn't the tobacco, but the radioactive dust that came from all the decades of testing.
It was the asbestos. The leaded gasoline exhaust. Cilicosis. So many other factors that were far more harmful. Contributing.
I never said it was "healthy".
Your anecdotal evidence can be explained with simple logic.
"Some" people SMOKE TOO MUCH.
The type of person who is prone to abusing a substance (no matter what it is) is probably that way because they lack a certain type of will power to control themselves. They might also eat too much. Take other drugs. Eat the "wrong" things… perhaps be lazy and not take care of themselves in general.
