Update 5:22 p.m.: No one injured by gunfire at Destiny USA mall, Syracuse Police Chief Joe Cecile said at the mall. A person fired one shot, he said.

It is believed that the shooter was trying to intimidate someone by intentionally shooting at the trash can, he said.
The shooter was last seen on camera running from the mall. The shooter is not in custody.
