MAN RELEASED EARLY FROM PRISON FOR MURDER SHOOTS 22 WITH ACCOMPLICES

Steven Ahle STEVEN AHLE JUNE 19, 2018

Lowering sentences may sound like a good idea to liberals and soft Republicans, but sooner or later reality sets in. In this case it set in quickly. Tahaji Wells, 33 was serving an 18 year sentence for murder when New Jersey decided it would be a good idea to release him back into the public. He was released from prison in February and in June, he and two accomplices shot 22 people at a New Jersey festival. But the liberal elite will deny that it was a bad idea to release Wells early. Liberals are known for two things. Extremely bad policy and denying their disatrous policies were bad. In California, they lowered the penalty for larceny and larceny is now skyrocketing in the Golden State.

From Breitbart News

Police fatally shot Wells and the second suspect, Amir Armstrong, 23, remains in the hospital in stable condition. A third suspect, who had not been publicly identified, is in critical condition.

Seventeen people suffered gunshot wounds of the 22 injured. The shooting stemmed from a dispute leading to an exchange of gunfire with the police.

Wells was 17 years old when a judge sentenced him to 18 years for fatally shooting Robert McNair, 22, in a dispute over who should drive a vehicle to a bar.

But, besides the 18 years he got for murder, the Bloods gang member got an additional 6 years for racketeering as he ran the gang’s activities inside the prison. If Wells had not been released, he would have remained behind bars until well in to the 2020s. Maybe he was released so that he could vote for Hillary in 2020. They’d have something in common. They would both be 3 time losers.

I will admit that there are some people in prison for longer than they should be but that needs to be determined on a case by case study, not as a one size fits all policy that liberals are so fond of.
