Parrots and mockingbirds, some crows, and fruit bats I believe all speak.
Animals don’t speak, but can communicate effectively non verbally. Chimpanzees have been taught sign language and DO speak to humans using it.
My dog speaks to me. In fact he’s telling me to “stop fucking ignoring me right now!”.
