Put yourself in their shoes, the difference is they have not had the necessary push at the correct time to awaken them. They live lives most 9-5 and do not have the time besides brief conversations at work about crazy shit like East Palestine. These are our fellow countrymen for better or worse. Without an intervention history WILL repeat and this time higher stakes are held with the new technology of nukes. We have not had a major war on the caliber of WW1 or WW2 since the creation of nukes. Without intervention this will surely spell demise.
Part of we wanted the Dems to win 2020 for that reason, but at what cost? If the controlled demolition starts to bring down the entire city what is the point?
