I admit, I was a #NeverTrump guy during the election. I was a Ted Cruz supporter. I thought Trump was a buffoon and a bully.
These last 18 months have shown me just how wrong I was. I do not ask for forgiveness. I know that in the turmoil of a presidential election, many things are said and done that are regrettable even if they are necessary.
I now proudly serve at the pleasure of the president.
