Science has been going south for a few decades. Been in seminars 3 decades ago where dept head thought it a good idea not to report male vs female difs due to political correctness.
Niece just took Bio 101 from University of Deep Blue State, where they introduced a marxist theory of biology.
Childhood endocrinologists who are experts in the field have been forced for a decade to publish any kind of paper that's not tranny-frenly in 2nd to 3rd rate journals, because the top ones are taken over by unqualified generalists.

Sadly, there are not many scientists who aren't left-wing who can get hired anymore, because the u's are full of researchers with tenure who hire like-minded [left-wing] colleagues.
