When I was young and full of spunk I spent a work experience day at a weather station at a large airport. We walked out to the temp and rainfall recorders and yes these were placed between a secondary runway and the taxiways/apron which was a huge expanse of asphalt and concrete.
Some of my experiences were just a good time while others were a spiritual connection to the earth and universe, and have come away from some of these with a new perspective on the big questions. not necessarily answers, but a feeling of comfiness that we are all connected via energy - hard to describe. but I'm better off because of it.
Everything in moderation of course.
