I believe this is a literal physical "Fight or Flight" reaction that they have no conscious control over. When the brain senses that you're giving them information that might break their worldview, the brain perceives it as a literal threat and tries to shut the conversation down ASAP.
I also believe this may be what Q is referring to in the cryptic "the truth would send 99 percent of people to the hospital" crumb.
I actually looked up Bourdain and Haiti and this was the first result:

I'd pray for the answer to be revealed, Anon. Not joking. I've experienced so much weirdness surrounding this Q stuff that I know it would work.
Just ask with a sincere attitude, Anon. Then keep an open mind about receiving answers. It only works if you believe it will.
