Leftist Maryland mayor arrested and charged with 40 counts of possession of child porn, 16 counts of distribution

The leftist mayor of College Park, Maryland, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with the possession and distribution of child pornography.

Patrick Wojahn, 47, an LGBT activist who states his pronouns (i.e., "he/him/his") on his Twitter profile and has supported Democrat causes, reportedly submitted his letter of resignation just prior to his arrest.

According to Prince George's County Police Department, Wojahn is charged with 40 counts of possession of child exploitative material and 16 counts of distribution of child exploitative material. He is presently being held at Prince George’s County jail.

Local police were notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Feb. 17 that a social media account operating under their purview possessed and disseminated child pornography. Images and videos had been uploaded to the offending account in January, said the PGCPD.

It was determined following a PGCPD investigation that the social media account belonged to none other than the city's mayor.

Detectives served a search warrant at Wojahn's home on Feb. 28, during which they recovered multiple cell phones, a storage device, a tablet, and a computer. The PGCPD subsequently charged Wojahn with 56 counts concerning the possession and distribution of child pornography.

Wojahn's resignation is effective immediately. He has been replaced by Mayor Pro Tem Denise Mitchell until a special election is held sometime in the next 65 days.

The alleged pedophile had been mayor since 2015 and served on the city council since 2007.

Last March, Wojahn was appointed vice chair of the National League of Cities Race, Equity and Leadership program, reported the Diamondback. In the role, Wojahn was tasked with achieving "racial justice through city planning and design."

He noted on his website that he was working "to instill principles of equity and justice in all of our policies and practices, and to pursue restorative justice."

In addition to dabbling in identity politics, Wojahn is also a climate alarmist, suggesting that the specter of climate change "presents one of the greatest threats to our city and our community," as well as an LGBT activist, having served as a team member of Capital Pride Alliance and worked for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

In his resignation letter, Wojahn noted that he has cooperated fully with law enforcement, adding, "While this investigation does not involve any official city business of any kind, it is in the best interests of our community that I step aside and not serve as a distraction."

Wojahn also suggested that he was "stepping away to deal with my own mental health."

Fate of the Pfizer Whistleblower Case to Be Decided by Federal Judge in Texas

In Beaumont, Texas, attorneys for a whistleblower alleging violations occurred during the Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial argued in federal court on March 1 that their case should advance to the discovery phase.

Attorneys for the defendants—Pfizer and two subcontractors, Ventavia Research Group and ICON—tried to convince the judge to dismiss the case. If successful, their clients would avoid depositions under oath.

Defense attorneys told the judge Wednesday that whether protocol violations occurred was ultimately irrelevant because the federal government was made aware of them but still granted emergency authorization to Pfizer’s vaccine.

They pointed out that the federal government backed the defendant’s motions, asserting that even if rules were violated, the problems only affected a small number of trial sites.

Lawyers for Brook Jackson, the whistleblower, countered by saying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the vaccine before reviewing the information Jackson provided.

U.S. District Judge Michael Truncale, the Trump appointee overseeing the case, said he would not issue a ruling from the bench, and a decision has not been handed down as of March 2.

Truncale said he did not usually allow oral arguments on motions to dismiss but felt it was necessary for due process in a case that had captured the public’s attention.

Violations

Ventavia ran some of the sites for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine Phase 3 clinical trial. The company didn’t properly report adverse events and failed to keep all participants blinded, according to internal communications revealed by Jackson.

Ventavia and other companies were hired by the clinical research company ICON, which Pfizer hired to oversee trial sites.

Jackson was hired by Ventavia in September 2020. She worked on clinical trials for 18 years and has been described as an expert. She was fired the same day she alerted the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of trial irregularities, 18 days after starting the new job.

Jackson sued Ventavia, Pfizer, and ICON in 2021 for violating the False Claims Act, a law that prohibits knowingly making a false or fraudulent claim for payment or approval from the government. She also accused Ventavia of illegal retaliation.

Before the hearing, Jackson told The Epoch Times that she would appeal the case if the judge dismissed it because the public deserves the truth—that the vaccines are not safe or effective because the data was manipulated.

“I did this on behalf of the American people,” she said.

The companies have said that Jackson has not proven violations occurred partly because of how the contract between Pfizer and the government was structured.

‘F*ck Eric:’ Hunter Plotted to Betray Key Family Business Partner Expected to Cooperate in GOP House Probe

Hunter Biden plotted in 2019 to betray the family’s top financial lieutenant Eric Schwerin amid their crumbling relationship, built upon an off-the-books business arrangement, text messages obtained by Breitbart News from Hunter’s laptop reveal.

Hunter’s damaged relationship with Schwerin is notable because Schwerin is expected to “soon” provide revealing documents about the Biden family business to Republican House investigators, according to the House Oversight Committee. It is unknown what information he may provide in the wake of his deteriorated relationship with Hunter.

Schwerin is a powerful figure in the Biden family business. He shared bank accounts with Hunter and President Joe Biden and was president of Rosemont Seneca Partners, a fund created by Hunter and several​ associates that created business deals in Russia, Ukraine, China, and Romania. Schwerin also maintained guest lists for White House functions and negotiated the divorce settlement with Hunter’s first wife, Kathleen.

Despite Schwerin’s close relationship with the family, Hunter’s text messages in 2018 begin to show a deep distrust of Schwerin and his involvement in the family’s affairs, in which Hunter apparently owed Schwerin money. Their relationship seemingly became so poor that Hunter announced Schwerin was his “worst enemy…And everyone knows it.” By 2019, their relationship had deteriorated to the point that Hunter hatched a plot to cut Schwerin out of an ongoing off-the-books business arrangement.

On February 3, 2019, Hunter conspired with fellow Biden family business partners Jeff Cooper and Devon Archer to cut Schwerin out of a then-current Biden family business arrangement and to replace him with Cooper and Archer. It is unknown if the plot was ever carried out.

Cooper, an old friend and partner of the Biden family who flew on Air Force Two to meet Mexican business associates, had a prior interest with Hunter in Eudora Global, which yielded the president’s son a 2015 gain of $300,000. Archer, a second longtime business partner of the family, was also an instrumental family business associate until he was sentenced to prison in 2020 for a defrauding scheme.

Hunter, texting Cooper and Archer in a group chat, proposed dividing his current business arrangement with Schwerin into thirds and giving Cooper and Archer each one part, keeping one third for himself. Hunter also noted he could cut Schwerin out of the deal because the current agreement had “no contract or any documentation to the affect [sic].” In the text message, Hunter used the infamous acronym “BD” to name the “Biden family” business:

The Lancet Concedes: Vaccines Are NOT More Effective Than Natural Immunity.

BUT WHO WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE CACOPHONY OF LIES?

Natural immunity is just as effective – if not more so – at protecting against COVID-19 Big Pharma vaccines, admits a new study in the Lancet medical journal. The about-face from the 200-year-old publication comes at the same time as the sudden change of heart amongst authorities regarding the origins of the virus.

“Although protection from re-infection from all variants wanes over time, our analysis of the available data suggests that the level of protection afforded by previous infection is at least as high, if not higher than that provided by two-dose vaccination using high-quality mRNA vaccines,” the report states.

The authors of the study believe the findings should be used by policymakers to inform future policy-making about COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. According to chief author Dr Charles Murray, the report “supports the idea that those with a documented infection should be treated similarly to those who have been fully vaccinated with high-quality vaccines.” Policymakers should “take both natural immunity and vaccination status into consideration to obtain a full picture of an individual’s immunity profile”.

Previous studies in the Lancet equivocated over the effectiveness of natural immunity, deciding that vaccination clearly represented the best course as a matter of public health policy. Although this new report appears to be the end for such equivocation, it’s worth noting the study’s authors still recommend vaccination as the “safest option” for acquiring immunity.

Ironically, the new research appears to be at least partly funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill Gates has been one of the chief public advocates for mass vaccination; although he has recently contradicted earlier claims about the vaccines.

Speaking at the Lowy Institute in Australia, the Microsoft founder recently noted that there are three main problems with the current vaccines:

“The three current vaccines are not infection-blocking,” he said. “They’re not broad, so when a new variant comes up you lose protection; and they have very short duration, particularly in the people who matter, which are old people.”

The new Lancet publication comes as vindication, but perhaps cold comfort, for the many people who insisted that the vaccines would not provide uniquely powerful protection against the disease. These people have been subject to relentless derision as “antivaxxers” and “conspiracy theorists” for the last three years for expressing what had previously been common knowledge about the effectiveness of natural immunity conferred by infection. Some will have been forced to take a vaccine against their will to comply with the various mandates that were issued by governments and employers around the world – mandates that were enforced on the basis that only vaccination could offer the necessary level of protection needed – while others will have suffered professional and personal consequences as a result of their beliefs and decision not to be vaccinated.

URGENT: Stillbirths nearly doubled in Singapore, one of the world's most mRNA vaccinated countries, in 2022

For two years, mRNA Covid vaccine skeptics have raised questions about whether the shots might damage fertility.

mRNA jabs alter menstrual cycles in some women. An Israeli study last June showed that sperm production falls after the Pfizer shot.

Worse, births are falling fast in many mRNA countries. The trend predates the shots, but in some countries it accelerated nine months after the widespread rollout of the jabs to women of childbearing age.

Still, data have not supported the worst fear of mRNA skeptics - a marked rise in late-term deaths or stillborn babies.

The Asian city-state of Singapore is small, wealthy, regimented, and very good at collecting and publishing data. Last week, it released full-year 2022 data on deaths, live births, and stillbirths.

Here’s the chart on stillbirths. Official Singaporean government data, nothing less or more. The numbers speak for themselves:

73 stillbirths in 2019.

78 in 2020.

78 in 2021.

133 in 2022.

Looks like about a 70 percent jump annual, after three years in which the figures remained essentially flat.

The reality is even worse.

Singapore puts out these reports each quarter. In the first quarter of 2022, it reported only 13 stillbirths, compared to 18 in 2021.

Thus, in April through December 2022, stillbirths doubled to 120 - from 60 during the same period a year before.

This increase in stillbirths from April through December did NOT occur because of a rise in births.

In fact, the opposite is true.

Births in Singapore fell 10 percent in the final three quarters of 2022, a marked shift from the January-March period, when they rose about 1 percent (due entirely to increases in January and Feburary). The decline has not eased, either; births fell 15 percent in December.

Netanyahu tells High Court he has no conflict of interest dealing with overhaul

PM says AG overreaching in preventing him from even discussing judicial reform, suggests it would be enough to bar him from process of appointing judges

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday rejected the attorney general’s position that, due to his ongoing criminal trial, he should be barred from any involvement in his government’s highly contentious judicial overhaul legislation, and argued that some members of the opposition are actively seeking his involvement in order to facilitate dialogue on the issue.

In a filing to the High Court of Justice, Netanyahu’s attorneys argued that there was no substantive conflict of interest for the prime minister relating to the overhaul, and that barring Netanyahu from involvement in the actual selection of judges would be sufficient to allay any concerns.

Last month, citing a conflict of interest arising from the prime minister’s ongoing trial on corruption charges, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara sent a letter to Netanyahu telling him he could not play a part in the radical reforms being advanced by Justice Minister Yariv Levin and Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee Chairman MK Simcha Rothman.

The letter was sent in the wake of a petition to the High Court of Justice by the Movement for Quality Government in Israel demanding that a new conflict of interest agreement be drawn up for Netanyahu to replace the agreement he reached in 2020 with then-attorney general Avichai Mandelblit, early in the criminal proceedings against him.

Baharav-Miara has since insisted that Netanyahu not even speak about the reforms, publicly or privately, a position that President Isaac Herzog reportedly asked her to reconsider in order to facilitate negotiations toward a compromise on the contentious moves.

Drag queen forces child to leave class for denying 73 genders, school teaches anal sex to 11-year-olds: report

Students were reportedly shown how skin grafts could be used to craft an artificial penis

The Isle of Man government has suspended sex education at schools after a drag queen allegedly forced a student to leave class for refuting the concept of 73 genders, according to a new report from The Telegraph.

A petition from parents of students attending Queen Elizabeth II High School previously called for an "immediate investigation" into the curriculum. The petition was addressed to the school’s head teacher Charlotte Clarke and signed by more than 500 people.

"We consider the attendance of a ‘drag queen’ in class and alienating students clearly confused about the information discussed during this session wholly inappropriate," the petition reads in part.

Speaking with Energy FM, Marown Parish Commissioners Vice-Chairman Eliza claimed that children as young as 11 were taught by a drag queen and told there are 73 genders. One student responded that there were only two genders, which prompted the drag queen to say, "you’ve upset me," and ask the student to leave the class.

ISRAELI TANKS OPEN FIRE AT SYRIAN ARMY POSITIONS IN AL-QUNEITRA

On March 2, a main battle tank of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) opened fire at a Syrian Arab Army (SAA) position in the southern Syrian governorate of al-Qunitra.

The tank fired three shells at the vicinity of the position, which is commonly known as al-Ziraa tower, as a group of unidentified military personnel was approaching it. No casualties or material losses were reported as result of the direct fire attack.

The al-Ziraa tower is a four-storey building that is reportedly being used as an observation position by the SAA’s 90th Brigade.

The Israeli attack came just two days after the IDF warned the SAA against allowing Lebanese Hezbollah to establish a presence on Tell al-Hara hilltop in leaflets which were dropped over the al-Qunitra and neighboring Daraa. Tell al-Hara, which is located in the western Daraa countryside, hosts a former Syrian-Russian signal intelligence base.

The IDF carried out several direct fire attacks and ground intrusion into al-Quneitra buffer zone in the last few months to limit the movements of the SAA and alleged members of Hezbollah.

Israel announced on February 20 that a suspect who had been detained by the IDF after crossing from Syria into the occupied Golan Heights a month earlier was involved in efforts by the Lebanese Hezbollah terror group to gather intelligence.

The situation along the Golan Heights front remains tense. However, the new Israeli attack will not likely lead to any further military escalation.

NEW: Congressional Ethics Committee Releases Update on Investigation Into AOC

The Office of Congressional Ethics on Thursday released an update to the investigation into Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The Committee said there is “substantial reason to believe” AOC “accepted impermissible associated with her attendance at the Met Gala in 2021” that violated “standards of conduct and federal law.”

“Specifically we believe Representative Ocasio-Cortez has violated clause 5 of Rule XXV of the Rules of the House of Representatives (commonly known as the Gift Rule) by accepting admission to the Met Gala, an event whose per seat costs is reported to range from $35,000 to $50,000 without having a permissible exemption to allow the acceptance of the lavish gift,” the American Accountability Foundation wrote last year.

“If Representative Ocasio-Cortez has used campaign funds to pay for this ticket, she has also violated FEC prohibitions on campaign funds being used for entertainment purposes,” they added.

Recall, AOC attended the Met Gala last year and donned a “Tax the Rich” mermaid gown.

Two separate ethics complaints were filed against Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for her appearance at the $30,000 per ticket Met Gala.

In September 2021, the National Legal and Policy Center joined the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) in filing an ethics complaint for her acceptance of the tickets and the lavish gifts that come along with it.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the charity that receives the proceeds of the Met Gala, told the Caller that AOC was a “guest of the museum.”

On top of all that, Ocasio-Cortez also accepted a ticket for her boyfriend, Riley Roberts. According to House Gift Rules, lawmakers are only allowed to provide a second ticket to a charity fundraiser to a spouse or dependent child.

“Thus, because her boyfriend is not her ‘spouse or dependent,’ her acceptance of an ‘invite plus one’ to the Met Gala would violate the Gift Rule unless AOC or her boyfriend paid for his $35,000 ticket, an unlikely scenario,” the NLPC’s complaint states.

Even the designer “Tax the Rich” mermaid gown that AOC wore might have violated the ethics rules. NLPC’s complaint argues that Ocasio-Cortez’s use of a custom “tax the rich” dress, even if borrowed as she claims, violates the gift rules because the designer used “valuable professional services in designing and making this one-of-a-kind dress.”
