I just received an email from Tim Widmon (American Family Association) with a gushy piece about hearing this wonderful DeSwampis speech (complete with the link, in case you want to hear it, ya know!)
Here’s my reply:
Dear Tim,
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am to see you shilling for Ron DeSantis! His disloyalty speaks louder than his words. As a Floridian, I voted for him twice – fool me once, shame on him…fool me twice, shame on me. He will not fool me a third time. When I cast my ballot, I never suspected he planned to step on the people of Florida to try to get to DC.
He seems to have forgotten (while I definitely have NOT) that it was President Trump who pulled him over the finish line into the governor’s mansion. Old Ron was losing BIGLY to a meth-addled degenerate until he begged for (and graciously received) Trump’s endorsement. Overnight, his poll numbers skyrocketed, and he won – by a hair. And the way he thanks the man whose help was invaluable to his political career is to stick a knife in his back.
All you need to know about DeSwampis is to look at the people who support him – Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, the Koch Brothers, Rupert Murdock, the whole Bush clan, Club for Growth- every globalist RINO is all in for him. Even George Soros threw him a bone. He’s the Establishment GOP’s “useful idiot” in their attempt to split the MAGA movement. RINOs would rather see a Dem in the White House than have Trump win and upset their tidy little money cart.
I truly thought the AFA was politically savvy enough to see through Ron’s “Trump-Lite” façade. This country is on the precipice, and the LAST thing we need is a cheap imitation. It will take no less that Donald J. Trump to bring us back to sanity.
