Cut caffeine after lunch. It's pollen season, so consider a mild, short acting antihistamine like chlorpheniramine before bed. Histamine acts like a stimulant.
Also make sure you take a slug of milk of magnesia before bed and if you have chronic pain issues a Tylenol or two. Tylenol works by slowing the breakdown of endogenous cannibinoids, which help sleep.
Magnesium is a natural relaxant and electrolytic counterbalance to calcium, which in excess is stimulating.
Avoid alcohol before bed, it wrecks sleep. Get some exercise or hard work in during the day, but wrap it up at least a few hours before trying to sleep.
Get the room cold, dark, and quiet. Good luck. Also make sure you don't have apnea. I did and until I fixed that, it was a living hell. Now, SO much better.
Also watch the eats before bed. Digestion and sleep can be a mixed bag.
