After living most of my life and school experience with Natives, I do not feel sorry for them.
They are (many-not all) very racist and very much

The whole education system needs to change from Pre-K to university.
Core basics, of course….reading, writing, 'rithmetic.
That said, why should a kid, who has no interest in art, be forced to take an art appreciation class? Love of art is inate. One either has it, or they don't.
The same kid may have a God-given talent for mechanics, but no mechanics class is available so the school forces same kid to take a class that is a total waste of time for that individual. It's senseless.
