The say Jupiter is larger than Venus, and that it only appears dimmer because it's farther away.
If it is as Scripture says, then the stars are on a fixed surface.
So if Jupiter is dimmer?
That's because it's not as bright a star as Venus! It's not as great. It's pretending that it's greater, by pretending that extra distance exists where it doesn't.
This is a lesson.
