>And the extra 400m in ammo, is that comming out of usa stocks? how many "bullets" would that be? How many does usa have left (to take on ruskies & chyna?

The US Military has its own ammunition plants scattered across the country. The US can make staggering amounts of ammo in a very short period of time if needed. Just ask Japan. It seems the problem at the moment is labor and raw materials sourcing.

Watch the Ammunition Plants. They can't hide their activity. If the parking lots are full and the plant's own railyards are busy, then Uncle Sam is prepping.

"General Dynamics-Ordnance & Tactical Systems [of] Niceville, Florida and American Ordnance [of] Middletown, Iowa will compete for each order of the $993,790,373 … contract to produce 155mm rounds," the Defense Department said on Wednesday.

The two bids from GD-OTS and American ordnance were the only ones received by the Army, the release said.

Work on fulfilling the full order will be carried out over the next five years with an estimated completion date of February 14, 2028, the release added.

Stand back from the picture that's being painted for you by others and build your own based on the known conditions.

Russia has extreme logistics and transport problems. Everything they can mobilize on land is bogged down fighting in Ukraine. China can't effectively project conventional forces beyond the First Chain. Those are the current facts.

Ask yourself, "who benefits from depleting war stockpiles?" No one except the MIC. Once you accept that as the logical answer, you can start to dive into their motivations for these actions.

Anon looks at it from this perspective;

If things are as bad as they say they are, Biden can't start a war with direct US involvement, even if he wants to. Anon suspects war stockpiles are actually ok and that Uncle Sam is doing what he's always done, which is to charge a premium to desperate dictators for our shit-tier surplus while making room for the newer stuff.

All the Bradleys the US shipped to the Ukes were depot stored M2A1's which were obsolete in the mid-90's. They weren't even good enough to be issued to the Nasty Girls. They'll still fuck up all but the most modern Russian armor, but not at the level of overkill the Army expects for their money.
