>I see. I want the Truth more than anything. Once I have a firm understanding of the Truth at the fundamental level, then I feel like I can live with awareness. Otherwise, I am still functioning with an incomplete picture.

If you really are seeking the Truth you must first define what Truth is. Too many have been brainwashed into believing that truth is subjective/relative and therefore your truth is as good as my truth is as good as his truth. This comes from a faulty understanding of what constitutes truth.

Consider the following definition of truth.

Truth is the 100% accurate communication of facts. I.e. truth is a second order to facts (where facts are what IS and what OCCURS) it is the 100% accurate COMMUNICATION of facts, not the facts themselves, which ARE whether communicated or not.

100% accuracy in communication of facts concerning all existence and all events (TRUTH) is an attribute of omniscience, omnipresence and immortality. Therefore Truth is an attribute of Deity. Is there any Deity who has claimed to be TRUTH? The one and only communicator of facts (particularly relating to Deity and humanity) i.e. all existence and all events?

Here's a very big hint.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14.6

Wow! The power of prayer, Anon! We have a wonderful Creator-Father who listens to and answers prayer - often in the most unexpected ways.Thanks be to Jesus who has made it possible for humanity to have a restored relationship with their holy Creator.

This was a hymn my beloved mother asked to be SPOKEN (not sung) at her funeral. I had the privilege of fulfilling her wishes. She understood the Christian walk and oten shared with me her understanding before she was called home.

Thy way, not mine, O Lord,

However dark it be!

Lead me by Thine own hand,

Choose out the path for me.

Smooth let it be or rough,

It will be still the best;

Winding or straight, it leads

Right onward to Thy rest.

I dare not choose my lot;

I would not, if I might;

Choose Thou for me, my God,

So I shall walk aright.

The kingdom that I seek

Is Thine; so let the way

That leads to it be Thine,

Else I must surely stray.

Take Thou my cup, and it

With joy or sorrow fill,

As best to Thee may seem;

Choose Thou my good and ill.

Choose Thou for me my friends,

My sickness or my health;

Choose Thou my cares for me

My poverty or wealth.

Not mine, not mine the choice

In things or great or small;

Be Thou my guide, my strength

My wisdom, and my all.
