Democrat Lawmakers in Maryland Introduce Bill Preventing Anyone 25 Under from Being Charged with Felony Murder

Democratic lawmakers in Maryland are attempting to pass a bill to prevent criminals under 25 from being convicted of felony murder.

In the state of Maryland, “Felony murder occurs when someone is killed while a felony crime, like robbery, is being committed.’

House Bill 1180 , also called the Youth Accountability and Safety Act, would ultimately prevent anyone under 25 from being charged with felony murder.

The new bill was introduced by Democratic Delegate Charlotte Cruchfield.

Cruchfield’s reasoning behind the new bill is that a person’s frontal lobes are not fully developed until the age of 25.

Republicans, however, are not on board with the idea of murderers getting off the hook.

However, opponents of HB 1180, like Republican Delegate Susan McComas say Democrats are only using mental capacity when it comes to soft on crime policies.

“Proponents of the bill say that the human brain is not fully formed in the frontal lobes until age 25. But yet, we’re doing other things in the general assembly, letting children vote earlier and earlier, letting them get hormone inducing drugs to change their sex,” said McComas.

The State of Maryland’s Juvenile Justice Service head Vincent Schiraldi previously went on record saying no one under 21 should be introduced to the Justice System.

The polling was done QDOS, which is owned by Labor strategist John Armitage. It has been paid more than $2million in taxpayer money since 2016 to carry out community polling for the Andrews ­government.

The bombshell findings were unearthed in almost 200 pages of documents released under Freedom of Information regulations after a long battle to keep them secret.

The Andrews government kept its appeal against releasing the documents going until November's state election came and went without them being made public.

The documents obtained by The Australian reveal that focus groups in regional and city areas in July and August 2020 were questioned on Mr Andrews' performance.

People's responses to health messages and the 5km travel restriction were also gauged in the research done QDOS.

Company owner John Armitage reportedly boasts of his company's skill in 'changing public opinion' and its ability to 'squeeze, pump and stir' public view points.

A QDOS briefing from a focus group held in Colac, 150km south-west of Melbourne, on August 5, 2020 found support for Mr Andrews.

Student Loan Lender SoFi Sues Biden Admin To End Payment Pause Extension

A major banking institution and federal student loan refinancing company has called on a federal court to end the Biden administration’s pause on student loan payments, arguing that the moratorium has no legal basis.

San Francisco-based SoFi Bank and SoFi Lending Corp.—a student loan refinancing company—sued the Department of Education (DOE) on Friday, according to a complaint (pdf) filed in the District Court for the District of Columbia.

That complaint asked that President Joe Biden’s latest extension of the student-loan payment pause be deemed “invalidated and set aside” or, at a minimum, that the DOE be ordered to require repayment by borrowers who are not eligible for student-debt cancellation.

It also asked that the court issue a permanent injunction preventing the administration from “enforcing, applying, or implementing the eighth extension of the loan moratorium.”

Biden announced in November that his administration would extend its moratorium on student loan repayments, interest, and collections through June 30, 2023, marking the eighth extension.

In its filing with the court, SoFi Bank argued that the moratorium has no legal basis and has cost the bank, along with its refinancing business, millions of dollars in profits.

Specifically, SoFi Bank and SoFi Lending Corp. said the pause violates the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) because the department failed to follow notice-and-comment procedures, through which the administration should have first sought the public’s input or comment on the program.

Georgia Executive Who Disappeared In Baton Rouge After LSU Game Found Dead

On Monday morning, the Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed that they had discovered the body of Nathan Millard, who had been reported missing.

According to the BRPD’s Facebook post, Millard’s body was found at 3:34am in the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy. — the cause of death remains unknown until the results of the autopsy results are available.

Nathan Millard was a 42-year-old construction director from Georgia, who was married with five children.

He was last seen at Happy’s Irish Pub after attending a Louisiana State University basketball game with a client on February 23. He left the bar around 11:30pm to go back to his hotel room at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Baton Rouge, but he never made it back.

Another video released showed Jacob Chansley, AKA, the “QAnon Shaman” peacefully walking through the Capitol with police escort.

KJP said police peacefully escorting unarmed American citizens through the Capitol was worse than the Civil War that resulted in more than 600,000 deaths.
