Correct, because unlike the many shills here who are googling for terms building a real world application is more than a few impressive commands. This site took 50 developers around 3 years of code commits. They used Microsoft tech because it is as easy as PHP and more proven. Twitter is Scala mainly much harder and scalable and faster.
