Pathetic.. We live in an international economy where different nations compete with eachother by adjusting their taxes. The U.S. actually has one of the lowest tax rates, but its also otherwise expensive to conduct business in the U.S. because property/rent, labor, insurance and other regulatory & legal expenses are higher here..
Why are there like 400,000 companies that say they're based in the cayman islands? One of many tax havens… They have low estimates about how much money is offshore, but they don't have a way of knowing, and those who do, probably don't want everyone else to know.
