RCH505 has popped back up on this side of the Atlantic just off Long Island.
RCH505 was the C17 that departed Ramstein AFB around the time of the Q "Dopey" drop that included "Black Forest."
It is unclear at this time where RCH505 is headed but appears to be US East Coast.
At about the same time RCH498 departed Friedrichshafen and took a more southerly departure route when leaving Europe.
RCH498 remains in the air and not visible on ADS-B at this time which indicates that it still over the Atlantic.
This southerly departure is consistent with a great circle routing to GITMO. It does not mean the flight is headed there but it could be.
Flight time for RCH505 to reach Long Island was apx 8.5 hours.
Flight time for RCH498 if it it travelling to GITMO would be 10 to 11 hours depending on wind conditions.
We should know in the next few hours if RCH498 pops up on ADS-B northeast of the Bahamas.
Update to follow when they become available.
