For Twitter the graphics really ought to be a 2:1 width:height aspect ratio.
For example 1024 wide x 512 high.
Otherwise Twitter will display only the top of the graphic and any words on the bottom will disappear.
Mostly we are dropping these on Twitter, right?
I find it extraordinarily difficult to make visually appealing graphics that are 2:1 in shape, but I do it anyway because it is VERY IMPORTANT to getting our message across.
