(pb) >>18479457 I VETOED HB 1193. This bill adopts a definition of ‘money’ to specifically exclude crypto like Bitcoin. And it opens the door to the risk that the federal government could adopt a Central Bank Digital Currency.

 

Crypto believers thinking the US Government would allow competition sleep with unicorns on their ceiling. Biden also wants to tax the crypto miners with a 30% surcharge to help kill them off too. And if the CBDC is not tied to Gold then they're just repackaging and rebranding a failed system.

 

Looks like the BRIC countries are leading the way to whatever the new system will eventually be.
