I roughly concur.

After the 2020 election things started to morph from the OG QRbto the modern version of QR seen today.

The big acceleration of autistical exodus occurred in Jan 2021 when Biden really did go on to be POTUS and there was no last minute PDJT save.

Add in Q not posting in 2021 and the Board Wars going into high gear late 2020 into 2021 and the QR vibe has never been the same.

Site upgrades are a normal thing.

Unfortunately, so are upgrade issues delaying the return of a site.

And considering the borkedness of 8kun ever since CM quit I'd say if things are back up by Wednesday and only 50% borked then it will be a successful upgrade.
