I'm not sure what you mean by "get gooder", but I really did skip a bunch of liberal idiocy during highschool, and that included lots of time at the library, and I did read those books while at the library. This would be while I was not working shifts at the local grocery store or taking classes at the local community college. I may have been a poor student at school, but I was a good student elsewhere.
