''Jay Leno Says He Never Gave Donald Trump Permission to Use His Letter''
Jay Leno has categorically stated that he has not given Donald Trump permission to use any correspondence between the pair in the upcoming book Letters to Trump.
Former President Trump has announced he's releasing a new book featuring around 150 private letters dating back decades. However, he may face potential lawsuits in doing so. It is unclear whether Trump has the legal right to publish the letters without the sender's permission, and former Tonight Show host Leno has told Newsweek he did not grant Trump permission to share any letters from him.
Released on April 25, Letters to Trump promises to contain letters sent to him from a number of well-known figures and celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Princess Diana, Hillary Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon and North Korea's Kim Jong-un. Clinton's office has also confirmed to Newsweek that they also did not give their permission either.
Newsweek has reached out to many of the people listed as being included in the book, and Leno's representatives were quick to confirm they had not granted Trump permission.

The United States of America has already been depleted of more than $100 Billion for aid to Ukraine. Now, we’re losing precious American technology worth hundreds of millions of dollars like the MQ-9 Reaper.
It is impossible to ignore the dire risk of total war with Russia as we teeter on the precipice of direct conflict. I am once again calling on Joe Biden to end our involvement in this war before the counting of lost dollars in this conflict becomes the counting of dead Americans in Ukraine.

US says Russian warplane hits American drone over Black Sea
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Russian fighter jet struck the propeller of a U.S. surveillance drone over the Black Sea on Tuesday in a “brazen violation of international law,” causing American forces to bring down the unmanned aerial vehicle, the U.S. said.
Moscow said the U.S. drone maneuvered sharply and crashed into water following an encounter with Russian fighter jets scrambled to intercept it near Crimea, but insisted its warplanes didn’t fire their weapons or hit the drone.
The incident, which raised tensions over Moscow’s war in Ukraine, appeared to mark the first time since the height of the Cold War that a U.S. aircraft was brought down after being hit by a Russian warplane.
U.S. President Joe Biden was briefed on the incident by national security adviser Jake Sullivan, according to White House National Security spokesman John Kirby. He added that U.S. State Department officials would be speaking directly with their Russian counterparts and “expressing our concerns over this unsafe and unprofessional intercept.”
State Department spokesman Ned Price called it a “brazen violation of international law.” He said the U.S. summoned the Russian ambassador to lodge a protest and the U.S. ambassador to Russia, Lynne Tracy, has made similar representations in Moscow.
