What was the question though?
I can to extent if that's all he's wanting. Blatant racism was the norm back then, slavery was a norm back then. Most settlers coming over were of white European descent so the blanket label made sense, so as not to defy the laws of the prominent slave trades, inadvertently granting slaves citizenship and thus freedom under federal law. It also served as a platform for which to deny Native Americans citizenship and allow their persecution as a threat to the country itself, not that Natives really matter much now. Either way, it's a slide. White Nationalism is a reaction to forced diversity but neither is correct in a free society.
I already have more or less, the actions of history speaks for themselves. Have fun sliding.
Damage is done, all we can do is help people be wise to what happened and slow their roll. We need a strong sense of Nationalism and devoted patriots but almost more than that we need a critically-thinking population with those traits. Things will mellow out when we have those.
