I live in FL and I am thankful for DeSantis but Trump is not wrong regarding insurance. Last year I had three houses and all of them had insurance. Each one approximately $2600.00. Then one came up for renewal 5 weeks before Hurricane Ian, the price was $7500.00. Peoples Trust (kek) suddenly did away with all of the discounts, by the time I had jumped through their hoops to get the discounts back, the renewal expired and they would not take my money…Just last week they did the same thing with my second house.
My houses are paid off so there is no mortgage company to foreclose on me for not having insurance but what about the rest of the state? They are proper fucked…
