Dear Veterans and Visitors,
Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks is relaxing masking requirements. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have followed CDC and VHA guidelines. The infection prevention team will weekly analyze the risk assessment levels. There are three levels – green, yellow, and red. Currently, our facility is yellow. During green and yellow levels, masking is optional. During red levels, masking will be required by everyone in all areas. Regardless of levels or location, you can request an employee wear a mask. Masks will be provided in all areas. High risk areas, like chemotherapy units, acute inpatient medical/surgical units, intensive care units, post-transplant units, dialysis units, etc., masks are required at all times. These areas are marked throughout the facility. We are committed to providing a safe, reliable environment. We will continue to keep you updated on any further changes as they occur.
Veterans Health Care System of the Ozark will monitor and update guidelines as necessary.
