If the shoe were on the other foot, would Trump be defending DeSantis publicly? I think not. He would be amplifying the “witch hunt”. As a matter of fact, Trump has been attempting to deploy the very “witch hunt” tactic, the same tactic he constantly bemoans, against DeSantis. First, he released a picture of a young DeSantis posing for a picture with some students at a party, HOLDING A BEER (the horror!), with the implication that DeSantis was being “inappropriate” with “underage” students. Then, just last week, he accused DeSantis of illegal fundraising activities related to a so-called “shadow campaign” for President. So would Trump be defending DeSantis if the roles were reversed? The answer is an obviousNO. In fact, he’d probably be piling on.

Most of the time the mom chooses the name, at least in the Western Hemisphere. It’s actually a popular name these days and most people who name their kids Mason are not naming them after FM. It is, after all, just a name.

DeSantis is the best choice, but I will vote for DJT if he wins the nomination, which he probably will. I honestly don’t think DeSantis is going to run unless something happens to Trump that prevents Trump from running. I think that also explains why DeSantis has been stand-offish and non-commital about whether or not he’s going to run up to this point. He’s keeping his toe in the water but he won’t jump in unless something happens to Trump. Just my humble but accurate opinion.

Don’t forget about Robert Parsons who claimed he opened a demonic portal with a ritual. He was asked if the portal could be closed and he said (paraphrasing) that the person who opened it would have to be the one to close it. Then he died some time later. Top kek!

^^^^

Conveniently forgets that Trump donated to the Clintons (Bigly) and even had them as honored guests at his wedding (pic related). He also didn’t “lock her up” like he implied at rally after rally after rally, as well as in the debates.

Why would DeSantis jump in to defend Trump when:

A) it’s a NY case, not a Florida case?

B) it’s none of his business and he’s not involved with the case in any way?

And

C) Trump just last week implied that DeSantis is illegally fundraising for a “shadow” presidential campaign, thereby trying to draw the government’s attention to DeSantis and start a “witch hunt”?

Oh, and the same person who constantly bitches and moans about “witch hunts” wants to start one with DeSantis as the target. Let’s not forget just a couple of months ago Trump put an old picture of DeSantis on blast, the one of him when he was a teacher, implying that DeSantis was doing something inappropriate with underage students.

So tell me, why should DeSantis lift a finger to help/defend Trump?

Oh you mean the way Trump was silent the last 2 weeks of his Presidency while 1/6 protestors were locked away without due process? The way he was silent on the 1/6 prisoners until very recently, coinciding with his 2024 campaign kickoff?

Most here have become emotionally invested, rendering themselves sycophants, and they can’t even see it. They are no different than the vilest never Trumpers, just on the opposite end of the spectrum. Trump was right when he said he could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue (or whatever) and shoot someone and they would still support/love him.

Trump himself admitted that he used the system and donated to who he needed to donate to in order to help his businesses. He wasn’t concerned about what the people he donated to were really all about. He was only concerned about how he could take advantage of the system to prosper himself. The reason people like Jeb donate to DeSantis (they can’t really go around donating to Democrats) is they hate Trump. It’s not so much that they like DeSantis, but rather they see DeSantis as the only viable Republican who could possibly defeat Trump. The enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of thing.
