The anti-Great Reset, pro-farmer BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB) movement appears to have won even more seats in the Dutch senate than expected, with the globalist coalition government losing heavily.

The BoerBurgerBeweging (Farmer-Citizen Movement) was founded to represent the interests of Dutch farmers facing severe difficulties or being closed down altogether as a result of Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s efforts to implement European Union-mandated curbs on the use of nitrogen fertilisers, in order to serve the bloc’s climate change green agenda.

Initially a protest movement, the BBB has been involved in many major demonstrations, often involving tractors, in the Netherlands — but it arrived as a political force in the country’s recent regional government elections for the first time, which also determine the make-up of the First Chamber of the States General — the upper house or senate of the Dutch legislature.

As the results of the election become clearer, it now appears to scale of the Farmer-Citizen Movement’s success was greater than polls initially suggested, with it being due toclaim 17 seats in the Senate and become by far the largest party there, according to pro-farmer campaigner Eva Vlaardingerbroek

The precarious four-party coalition government of the supposedly “centre-right” Prime Minister Mark Rutte, meanwhile, appears to have suffered somewhat worse losses than expected, with Vlaardingerbroek suggesting they will be unable to achieve a majority even with the support of the Labour Party and the Greens.

Papal Biographer: German Catholics Headed for Second Protestant Reformation

Papal biographer George Weigel has warned the “synodal way” undertaken by the German Catholic bishops looks eerily like a second Protestant reformation.

The Catholic Church in Germany has exploited Pope Francis’ call to undertake a listening process called the “Synodal Way,” using the venue of dialogue to propose radical changes to established Church teaching, Weigel notes in a Wall Street Journal op-ed this weekend.

On March 10, the German Synodal Way “approved a series of resolutions that would fundamentally alter the structure of authority in the German church by circumscribing the bishops’ governing power,” writes Weigel, a distinguished senior fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center.

The Synodal Way also decided “to rewrite the Catholic Church’s sexual ethic and sacramental practice by authorizing the formal, liturgical blessing of same-sex unions and calling for women to be admitted to holy orders,” Weigel notes.

What is unfolding in Germany is akin to “the 16th-century Lutheran Reformation: apostasy,” Weigel observes, which has led some in Rome to refer to the Synodal Way as the “Suicidal Way.”

As Breitbart News has documented, the German Catholic Church has been in numeric freefall for years, hemorrhaging members like proverbial rats off a sinking ship.

Perhaps in an effort to recover a modicum of relevance, the Germans now seem to think that doubling down on liberalizing measures — rather than abandoning them — must be the answer.

As Pope Francis told Bishop George Bätzing, president of the German Bishops’ Conference, in June 2022, Weigel writes, “Germany already has a Protestant church” and “we don’t need two.”

Apostacy, or the rejection of essential matters of authoritative Church teaching, he asserts, separates people from the body of believers and makes them liable to excommunication.

“That would seem to describe the church of the Synodal Way,” Weigel contends.

In a way, this is nothing new, Weigel argues. The vast German Catholic bureaucracy “has long been a hotbed of ‘Catholic Lite’: a Catholicism that resembles liberal Protestantism in being a pale ecclesiastical simulacrum of the current zeitgeist.”

This situation is different, however, because leaders of the Synodal Way have sought to frame their reforms as “an essential response to the German church’s crisis of clerical sexual abuse” in an attempt to justify the unjustifiable, Weigel writes.

In the end, the question comes down to the enduring value of biblical anthropology and ethics as opposed to a “21st-century gender ideology and the LGBTQ insurgency correct the mistakes made by the Bible and the teaching authority of the church over two millennia.”

The “woke cultural and sexual agenda” of Germany’s Synodal Way is setting up an inevitable clash with the vibrant churches of the developing world that do not buy into Germany’s reinvention of the Catholic Church.

As the world Synod of Bishops meets in Rome this October, “expect drama and irony,” Weigel concludes, as bishops from Catholicism’s future make clear they “see no point in emulating moribund liberal Protestantism.”

Democrats Worried Failed Stacey Abrams May Run for Office Again

Democrats have expressed dismay behind closed doors about the prospect of two-time failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams throwing her hat in the ring for another run at office.

This past January, without specifying exactly what position she would run for, Abrams told Drew Barrymore on her daytime talk show that she will be back again.

“I will likely run again,” Abrams said. “If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. If it doesn’t work, you try again.”

Abrams seemed to reiterate this position when she told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) last week that she views political office as “one tool for the issues I am committed to tackling.”

Greg Bluestein of the AJC quoted several Democrats who fearedanother Abrams run would further tarnish the party’s brand in the purple state of Georgia.

“Interviews with more than three dozen Democratic officials, party leaders and activists suggest she may not have the same unified support she enjoyed after her first defeat to Kemp in 2018,” Bluestein wrote.

Chair of Monroe County’s Democratic Party Yvonne Stuart, for instance, said that while she appreciated Abrams’ fundraising and get-out-the-vote efforts, she felt another Democrat should run for office.

“I do believe there might be another charismatic Democrat that can take us all the way in 2026,” said Stuart.

“I believe that there are opportunities for others to step up to the plate and run for governor,” said David Ellis-Mendoza, the chair of the Bartow County Democrats

Abrams saw her star power take a hit in December of last year for her poor financial management in the wake of her failure to unseat Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp.

As Breitbart News previously reported, Stacey Abrams raised over $100 million for her failed campaign but still found herself over $1 million in debt, prompting her to fire staff immediately after the November election.Democrats did not withhold their criticism of her financial decisions.

President Joe Biden contradicted Hunter Biden’s confession the family business received payments in 2017 out of China.

“That’s not true,” Joe Biden protested to reporters Friday when questioned about recent revelations the family’s bank accounts were enriched with funds from communist China.

Despite Joe Biden’s claims,Hunter admitted on Thursday the family business did accept China money in 2017. Hunter not only admitted the Biden family business received China money, but he also acknowledged he, along with James, Hailie, and unknown “Biden,” all received $1.3 million collectively.

“Hunter received his portion of good faith seed funds which he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved with at the time, and sharing expenses,” Hunter’s spokesperson acknowledged.

The White House on Friday refused to respond to a request for comment when Breitbart News inquired whether Joe Biden still believed Hunter did not receive China cash, as he previously said.

Joe Biden’s denial comes after House Oversight Committee James Comer’s (R-KY) revelation on Tuesday the Biden family business received a $3 million wire transfer from a Chinese energy company and subsequent payments after President Joe Biden left the vice presidency in 2017.

Comer has also found evidence that shows the Biden family business received $179,836.86 while Joe Biden was in the White House while he was Vice president in 2015. Although the sum appears to be insignificant compared to the $31 million received by the business during Joe Biden’s time as vice president, the new amount builds upon the previous reporting in 2022 by Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer.

Vanity Fair’s Caleb Ecarma even downplayed the “suspicious” activity reports as “not necessarily indicative of criminal activity.”

“Tens of thousands of general suspicious activity reports are filed every year,” he wrote, despite the 154 billion transactions processed in 2022 by commercial automated clearinghouses.

U.S. banks have flagged over 150 SARs from Hunter and James Biden that included “large” amounts of money flagged for further review. According to a 2020 Senate report, SARs “often contain evidence of potential criminal activities, such as money laundering and fraud.”

Rachel Levine Ripped for ‘Pure Hypocrisy’ in Viral Clip: ‘Kids for Me, but Not for Thee’

President Joe Biden’s Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, who is transgender, is being ripped online for “pure hypocrisy” after having admitted to waiting to have children before gender transitioning, despite currently pushing to normalize “gender-affirming” care, including sex changes and hormone therapies for minors.

In a resurfaced clip that went viral this week, Rachel Levine — formerly Richard Levine — expressed relief over having transitioned later in life while speaking at a meeting of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in 2019.

“If I transitioned when I was young then I wouldn’t have my children. I can’t imagine a life without my children,” says Levine, who is now pushing to expand irreversible gender surgeries for minors, in the clip.

The message was quite striking, given that Levine stated the “wheels will turn” on widely accepting transgender transitions for children during a recent discussion at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

During that Pediatric Grand Rounds session last month, Levine claimed children who had their gender confusion affirmed “actually have excellent mental health outcomes.”

Levine also noted that gender-affirming care for minors had the “highest support” of the Biden administration.

In response to the clip, Levine was slammed by many who pointed to the transgender official’s more recent push for puberty blockers and transgender surgeries for teenagers as part of so-called “gender-affirming” treatment.

“Why doesn’t this guy want people to have the same opportunity as him?” asked Rubin Report host and free speech advocate Dave Rubin.

“So, this guy who’s pushing as hard as he can for YOU to be cool with chemical castration and surgical mutilation of your child, is glad he waited to start his ‘transition’ because had he done it soon he wouldn’t have his children. That’s rich,” wrote talk radio host Joe “Pags” Pagliarulo.

One Twitter user called out Levine’s “pure hypocrisy.”

“Admiral Levine is thankful she wasn’t allowed to transition as a child, but she’s working overtime to transition your kids preventing them from ever having children,” wrote a Twitter user.

“Kids for me, but not for thee!” another proclaimed.

“But he’s ok denying other humans that same joy and life experience? Selfish bastard,” another user wrote.

“This is a man trying to push #transitioning on kids,” yet another highlighted.

“So, in 2019this idiot is ADMITTING, as a transgender woman, that CHILDREN should NOT be making decisions to take meds or have surgerieswhich CAN’T be reversed bc they might REGRET IT. But today wants to pass a law that allows CHILDREN to make these decisions,” wrote one Twitter user.

“Confused much?” the user added.

“This is why you LEAVE children alone and let them explore their lives until they are fully, mentally formed and can make a true decision on what they want to be,” another wrote. “Keep your hands OFF our children.”

The impending arrest of former president Donald Trump has sparked reactions from the former president’s detractors on social media.

After Trump announced via Truth Social Saturday morning he would be arrested on Tuesday pursuant to an investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, several Trump critics responded derisively on social media.

Actor George Takei wrote a sarcastic message on Twitter:

Who among us haven’t participated in a scheme to pay hush money to a porn star on the eve of a national election and then hide those payments illegally?

Social media influencer and rabid Trump critic Brian Krassenstein wrote on Twitter that Trump “will be booked and fingerprinted as any alleged criminal is.”

Left-leaning journalist Aaron Rupar noted the discordance between Trump’s impending arrest and planned campaign activities.

“In the last couple hours we learned that Trump reportedly plans to surrender to authorities if indicted and he also plans to hold a rally next weekend in Waco. Normal presidential campaign stuff,” he wrote in a tweet.

Putin’s staff to ditch iPhones – Kommersant

Officials in the Russian president’s office were reportedly told to get rid of their Apple devices over cybersecurity concerns

Members of the Russian presidential administration whose jobs focus on domestic policy have been instructed to discard their iPhones by the end of March, the business daily Kommersant reported on Monday. The decision was made due to the risk of Western espionage, the outlet said.

Russian officials will have to “throw away or give to their kids” their devices running the iOS operating system, according to how one source summarized a discussion during a seminar in early March.

Kommersant sources say the final say on the matter and the deadline came directly from Deputy Chief of Staff Sergey Kirienko, who supervises several departments in the presidential office in charge of various aspects of domestic policy. The ban will also affect officials who liaise with regional governments on behalf of the administration, the newspaper reported.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to either confirm or deny the report, but stressed thatofficials are not allowed to use smartphones “for work purposes” anyway. Any such device, regardless of its operating system, is too exposed to handle classified information, he said.

Apple prides itself on the increased security achieved due to the strict limitations on what users can do with its products and what programs can run on them. However, the brand’s popularity has also made the devices the target of extensive research into how to hack them.

Some advanced cyberwarfare tools, such as the infamous Israeli Pegasus software, allegedly allow Apple gadgets to be breached without the need for users to be tricked, unlike less sophisticated malware.The Russian ban is reportedly motivated by exactly that consideration, according to Kommersant.

The administration’s employees were told to switch to phones running the Android operating system,Chinese software, or the Russian Aurora system, a source told the newspaper. The domestic system has been in development since 2016 and derives from the Linux-based Sailfish operating system. (China is just as bad)

Cybersecurity expert Natalya Kaspersky remarked thatsmartphones “are designed as spy devices”that collect and store information that can be transferred elsewhere. But using electronics less familiar to potential attackers would improve users’ safety, she added.

“The more Russian components a device has, the smaller the risk that information would be leaked to hostile states. In that regard, a domestic OS would be advantageous to a foreign one,” Kaspersky said.

Western states are currently conducting a crackdown on TikTok, a popular video-sharing service owned by a Chinese company. Over the past several weeks, government agencies in several US-allied nations have banned the app from being installed on employees’ devices over alleged cybersecurity risks.

Hungary won’t bow to pressure on Ukraine – FM

The “war party” in Brussels wants to push Budapest into sending weapons, Peter Szijjarto has said

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said that his country won’t be pushed into supplying arms to Ukraine. Szijjarto accused the EU of a pressure campaign against Budapest, as the bloc’s ministers reportedly agreed to send $2 billion worth of ammunition to Kiev’s forces.

“Another war party proposal is on the table: this time Brussels wants to send ammunition to Ukraine,” Szijjarto wrote on his Facebook page on Monday. “The pressure is constantly increasing on us, butwe are not allowing anyone to push us into war,” he added.

Szijjarto traveled to Brussels on Monday for a meeting of EU foreign and defense ministers, in which a $2 billion ammunition deal for Ukraine was reached, AFP reported, citing diplomats. The deal will see the bloc committing roughly $1 billion to purchase artillery ammo from member states’ already depleted stockpiles, and another billion to purchase 155-millimeter shells on the open market.

The bloc’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, said that reaching an agreement was vital, “otherwise, we will be in difficulty in order to continue supplying arms to Ukraine.” Borrell and other top EU officials have repeatedly called on member states to boost their industrial capacity to meet Ukraine’s demands, with Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton declaring earlier this month that the EU should “move to a wartime economy model.”

Since Russia’s military operation in Ukraine began last February, Hungary has refused to allow weapons to enter Ukraine via its territory. Szijjarto and Prime Minister Viktor Orban have condemned Brussels’ twin policies of sanctions on Moscow and arms deliveries to Kiev, arguing that neither have helped end the conflict, and both have hurt the European economy.

As an EU member, Hungary is still a party to the EU’s sanctions, but Orban has vowed to veto any sanctions on Russia’s nuclear industry. Likewise, while Budapest opposes arms shipments to Kiev, and does not supply weapons itself, it has not vetoed any joint EU weapons packages to date.

“Europe is getting immersed in war, in reality they’re already indirectly at war with Russia,” Orban said at his annual state-of-the-nation speech earlier this month. In comments to members of his Fidesz party last month, Orban blamed “the Biden administration, pro-war Brussels bureaucrats, and pro-war politicians” for stoking the conflict “at the expense of European interests.”

Hungary, he said, would continue to “defend the pro-peace position against the Biden administration and Brussels.”

Putin-Xi meeting kicks off in Moscow

The Russian and Chinese leaders are expected to discuss a number of key issues, including the Ukraine conflict, energy and security

Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding informal talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping during the latter’s three-day visit to Moscow during which they will discuss key global issues and Russian-Chinese relations.

The two leaders are expected to conclude the portion of the visit devoted to negotiations on Tuesday by signing a statement on deepening bilateral relations and expanding economic ties.

Xi’s visit marks the first time the Chinese leader has traveled to Moscow since Russia launched its military offensive in Ukraine, although the two presidents have been in frequent contact.

While China has not openly supported Russia’s actions in Ukraine, neither has it joined the West in condemning the military operation and imposing sanctions on Moscow. Beijing has instead called for a peaceful resolution to the hostilities and last month revealed its own 12-step peace plan designed to end the conflict.

Moscow has said that it would consider the proposal but has pointed to several factors that stand in the way of a peaceful resolution in Ukraine. Those include the insistence of Kiev and its Western backers on inflicting a military defeat of Russia, their firm opposition to any sort of ceasefire, as well as a law enacted by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that forbids holding negotiations with Russia as long as Putin remains in office.

With an indictment for former president Donald Trump expected, House Judiciary chairman Jim Jordan (R., Oh.) and other Republican leaders are preparing to demand testimony from members of the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

A source with knowledge of the plans told Politico that Republicans may soon fire off letters for sworn testimony regarding Alvin Bragg’s impending prosecution of Trump. Many GOP officials have called the prosecution “politically-motivated” and have pointed to the fact Bragg’s predecessor, Cyrus Vance, did not bring charges against Trump.

The potential offense in this case is falsifying business records, a misdemeanor, which can be upgraded to a Class E felony — the lowest rung — if prosecutors can prove it was done to conceal or commit a second crime, in this case a campaign-finance violation. Trump has repeatedly called the prosecution a “witch hunt” and many legal observers believe the legal strategy of New York prosecutors to be a risky one.

On Saturday, Trump claimed “illegal leaks” from the Manhattan DA’s office have led him to believe he will be arrested Tuesday in connection with a hush-money payment made to porn actress Stormy Daniels. He also called for protests to take place to “take our nation back!”

He continued his rant against Bragg Sunday, posting on Truth Social in all caps: “Alvin Bragg should be held accountable for the crime of ‘interference in a presidential election.'”

Bragg responded to staff internally on Saturday, saying in a memo obtained by Politico: “We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or threaten the rule of law in New York.”

Oil prices crashing amid recession fears

Major benchmarks are sinking due to renewed concerns over global economic health and falling energy demand

Oil prices slumped to their lowest levels in 15 months on Monday, as investors worry that risks in the global banking sector could accelerate a recession that will impact energy demand.

Major global benchmarks were down roughly 3% on Monday. Brent crude fell to $70.80, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) plunged to $64.68 per barrel as of 11:00 GMT.

Investors are concerned that persisting risks in the global banking sector could trigger a recession that will lead to a decline in oil demand.

The slide came despite signals that the central banks are stepping up efforts to help distressed lenders in the US and Europe.

“The upcoming OPEC meeting is another potential catalyst on the outlook for the [oil] market. Further downside risk to prices increases the probability OPEC reduces production further to support prices,” the head of commodity research at National Australia Bank, Baden Moore, said.

A ministerial committee of OPEC and major producing nations including Russia, known as OPEC+, is due to meet on April 3.

Moscow opens criminal case over Putin warrant

Russia’s investigative committee says theICC prosecutor and judges acted “illegally”

The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor and judges who issued an arrest warrantfor Russian President Vladimir Putinhave become the targets of a criminal case, Russia’s Investigative Committee announced on Monday.

In a Telegram post, the committee said that it had opened cases against ICC prosecutor Karim Ahmad Khan, as well as judges Tomoko Akane, Rosario Salvatore Aitala and Sergio Gerardo Ugalde Godinez.

Khan sent a petition on February 22 to the ICC Pre-Trial Chamber to obtain warrants for the arrest of Putin and Russia’s commissioner for children’s rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, whom he accused of being responsible for the “illegal deportation of children from Ukraine.” His petition was approved by the aforementioned judges.

Russia’s investigative committee has described the ICC prosecutions as “obviously illegal, since there are no grounds for criminal liability.” It also pointed to the1973 UN Protection of Diplomats Convention which grants heads of state absolute immunityfrom the jurisdiction of foreign countries.

The committee considers Khan’s actions a crime under Russian law for “knowingly bringing an innocent person to criminal liability, combined with unlawfully accusing a person of committing a grave or especially grave crime.” He is also charged with preparing an attack on a representative of a foreign state "with the intention of complicating international relations."

The three judges are being accused of attacking a foreign state representative as well as attempting a "deliberately unlawful detention."

Russia has disregarded the ICC warrant as having no legal basis, with ex-president Dmitry Medvedev suggesting it was a sign of the collapse of international law. He also described the ICC as “s**tty and wanted by nobody” and said it had a poor record of holding high-profile suspects accountable, explicit pro-Western bias and had failed to investigate US war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Kremlin has officially reacted calmly to the ICC warrant. Vladimir Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told RIA Novosti on Monday that there are already plenty of “openly hostile manifestations in relation to both our country and our president” and that taking it all “to heart” would not bring anything good.
