TEXAS - Fire extinguished at INEOS chemical plant in Pasadena after possible explosion, officials say

Transtar cameras showed large flames and black smoke coming from the plant, which was extinguished around 1:30 p.m.

INEOS Group is a global manufacturer of petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and oil products. Comprising 36 individual businesses, it operates 194 facilities in 29 countries throughout the world, according to the website.
