> ING

very interesting…

Here follows a personal recounting of what happened a few weeks ago concerning ING

Banking with those shitbags since forever and carrying their cards around the globe as a backup. I was informed in Nov22 that my card expired and a new one sent to my address.

Being abroad that posed an inconvenience since it was my backup, but thought whatthe heck i can still bank online.

Then end of feb my mobile app asked me to register my account… what??

So I tried, and it asked me to upload ID..?? Ok, so in order to do that I needed to log in using my username and password…

No jizz… Going online and after several retries, it was clear I needed a new password.

In order to get a new password I needed a code generated in my mobile app…

See where this is going???

NO you DON'T

So, I get in touch with one of ING's wonderful representatives. A 'very nice' lady.

After my explaining the predicament, she put me on hold for a few minutes, and when she came back on the line, she announced…

I had no mobile phone number registered with my account!!!

WHAAAAT?? I told her that's impossible since I was banking and using the mobile app since like FOR EVER!

Ok, no problem she said, just walk into one of our banks or servicepoints and we will get you sorted out.

Well HELLOOOO…I was litterally at the other side of the globe, and when asking if I could walk into one of their branches overthere, I got a solid NO.

Not only NO, I was made clear that the ONLY solution to get my app to work, or get back into my own bank account, was to physically walk into one of their banks with my ID.

So, to control you and your access to your money, they don't need to do anything difficult, just delete your phonenumber and you are FUCKED
