so what.

MIT: mass institute of theives.

low talent, connected, and willing to go through hazing and humiliation and, then if you're pliant and do as told, they give you a degree.

patent theives, idea thieves, claim small ideas as 'property' and bigoted (because if you not one of their checkbox people or not part of the insiders group, then you don't get in.

what else?

ah, grant hounds who loot the government.

you should feel some level of shame at having to shill for pay there.

it's not special at all.

trolling done.

(it's not that your'e at MIT that makes me troll you with this, but that you brag about it.)

I was trolling a braggart who was leaning on credentials.

I already said having credentials from that school might have meant something long ago.

And, of course it doesn't apply to actual real people who aren't asshole braggarts, and who did real things, with accomplishments that are beyond just 'tech degree from the fancy school that used to be something, but now is just another diploma factory'.

Personally I do feel that MIT is not what it used to be, and that it turned into something awful recently, for well-connected elitists, and not for great science and engineering.

I was clear: it is a trolling.

the post in which I said that it might have meant something did not post!

here is what I said:

maybe 75 years ago it meant something, but it stopped meaning anything sometime in the 1970s.

and, as always, no matter even if the school is a fraud, the person doesn't have to be.

even though, for example Harvard is a fraud, and a dictators training ground, there are still plenty of good people with degrees from there.

Personally, I think both MIT and Harvard need to become taxed, and that they schools should be broken up into their various colleges.

In the case of Harvard, some of the colleges ought to be investigated for highlevels of criminal activity.

The hypocracy of Harvard is extreme. They, for example, pretend to be all about equality, meanwhile they shop out their food services to a disreputible outfit that is well known. anyone who knows Harvard knows this.

Equality? hardly.

privledge and hypocracy, that's what I see from them.

and yet they hold title to so very much property and much of it really ought to be put into the public domain, and removed from their fuedalist power system.

They are fuedal in how they behave.

Just like Disney, these 'elite' schools should loose their special status as tax-free havens and places for connected people to nest and self-deal.

Can I just watch the Wizard of Oz?

don't get me wrong, I loved Dark Side of the Moon.

I have two copies on Vinyl.

if you want to bother with it, get a vinyl copy from 1973 and listen to that with a high bandwidth stereo and appropriate speakers.

Yes, it is hypnosis.

now that we know these things, it makes it harder to think it's 'all that' when you realize what Waters was doing.

To me it was Gilmour's guitar that used to send me off.

or the recording of 'Echos'

or Fearless.

ah, and Corporal Clegg, that was also a fav of mine.
