Philly recommends most residents drink bottled water after Bucks County chemical leak
The advisory comes out of an abundance of caution following a latex spill from chemical plant Trinseo PLC into a Delaware River tributary on Friday
UPDATE: According to a statement by the Philadelphia Water Department at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, tap water from the Baxter Drinking Water Treatment Plant will remain safe to drink and use at least through 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 27, according to the latest sampling results and data. There is no need to buy water at this time, as residents can safely consume tap water, according to officials.
