It's a good piece and is a pretty honest assessment.

The one thing I would point to as being way off the mark is the number of people estimated to die of starvation.

 

If even half of what they predicted would happen actually did, it would ne hundreds of thousands.

Have you ever seen what happens to a grocery tore on the East coast right before a major hurricane hits?

It has been said that the average supermarket has enough food on hand to last 3 days.

 

Realistically it's about two to three hours in a panic.

If no trucks can make it in to restock and you have no food stashed away for emergencies, what do you think is going to happen then?

Extrapolate that into the millions.
