doubledubs

People walked away from a man bleeding out. Someone stayed seated 20 feet away and just watched. Someone filmed him dying instead of helping him.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?

The poor man but then, they said his wife and daughter were there. Where in the world were they then? Did they not run to help him?

Not the entire world being lost, but a huge part of it for certain. How in the world do we overcome the insanity when, at the very basic level, we can't help each other.

I had an experience yesterday I thought odd and want to share. I wish I had asked the doctor about it, when it happened.

I went to a local med-stop yesterday. It took 2 hours to be seen. I went for a physical problem(injury) not a health/illness issue.

When I was finally looked and and as the doctor was ready to leave the exam room, He turned and grabbed his stethoscope and said, "let me listen to your health real quickly".

I almost blurted out

You checking for myocarditis?

I held my tongue. I wish I had gone ahead and asked.

The problem was an injury to my foot. Had nothing to do with my heart.

Anyway, I haven't had that happen before.

The Guinea Pig is another mammal, like us, that cannot manufacture it's own Vit C.

" Surprisingly, many species, such as teleost fishes, anthropoid primates, guinea pigs, as well as some bat and Passeriformes bird species, have lost the capacity to synthesize it. "
