>Milgram Experiment

The times they are a changing anons, NYT, that hallowed old ragged Nazi-Commie daily dose of Marxism and Woke turns on Fauci, whoknowinglyโ€ฆ

Now New York Times turns on Fauci: Former China correspondent slams COVID tsar's efforts to tamp down lab leak theory, lies about effectiveness of masks and keenness to impose stringent lockdown rules

New York Times columnist Megan Stack criticized Dr. Fauci for his disparagement of the COVID-19 lab leak theory

Fauci's dismissal of the lab leak theory helped make it 'socially unacceptable' to believe the theory that is now the majority opinion among Americans

Attempting to 'clean up disinformation' by suppressing discourse 'creates its own dangers,' she wrote

March 28, 2023

The New York Times appeared to turn on Dr. Anthony Fauci in a recently published opinion essay that criticized the former NIH director's approach to information sharing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Times contributing opinion writer Megan Stack wrote a column titled 'Dr. Fauci Could Have Said a Lot More,' that primarily explored the government scientist's stifling of the COVID lab leak theory that most Americans have now come to believe.

Stack, a former China correspondent, wrote that Fauci and British zoologist, Peter Daszak, were early to refute in near absolute terms the theory that the novel coronavirus sprung out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Not only was that information not necessarily true, but, wrote Stack, the pair could have qualified their statements in ways that exposed Americans to more of the full picture, but they did not.

Stack further condemned Fauci for initially lying that masks weren't effective, then becoming their biggest champion, and repeatedly moving the needle on when it would be safe to lift lockdown measures.

This caused anon to go check the futures market and lo and behold, found this:

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried charged with bribing Chinese government officials

NEW YORK, March 28 (Reuters) - U.S. prosecutors on Tuesday unveiled a new indictment against Sam Bankman-Fried, accusingthe founder of the now-bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange of paying a $40 million bribe to Chinese officials so they would unfreeze his hedge fund's accounts.

The new bribery conspiracy charge adds to the pressure on the 31-year-old former billionaire, who now faces a 13-count indictment over the November collapse of FTX.

Bankman-Fried is expected to be arraigned on the new indictment on Thursdaybefore U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan federal court. He intends to plead not guilty, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Prosecutors had previously accused Bankman-Fried of stealing billions of dollars in customer funds to plug losses at his Alameda Research hedge fund, andorchestrating an illegal campaign donation scheme to buy influence in Washington, D.C.

Lawyers for Bankman-Fried did not respond to a request for comment.

Separately on Tuesday, Kaplan approved modifications to Bankman-Fried's $250 million bail package that are designed to prevent the defendant from tampering with witnesses.

The new indictment said Bankman-Fried ordered the $40 million cryptocurrency payment to a private wallet from Alameda's main trading account, to persuade Chinese government authorities to unfreeze Alameda accounts with more than $1 billion of cryptocurrency.

Prosecutors said the Alameda accounts had been frozen as part of an investigation into an unnamed Alameda counterparty, and Bankman-Fried's prior efforts to lobby Chinese officials to lift the freeze were unsuccessful.

They also said Bankman-Fried around November 2021 authorized a transfer of tens of millions of dollars of additional cryptocurrency to "complete" the bribe.

>I know most of you are degenerate nitwits but it has to be said:

Shut the fuck up. I'm so tired of being disrespected on this goddamn website. All I wanted to do was post my opinion. MY OPINION. But no, you little bastards think it's "hilarious" to mock those with good opinions. My opinion. while not absolute, is definitely worth the respect to formulate an ACTUAL FUCKING RESPONSE AND NOT JUST A SHORT MEME OF A REPLY. I've been on this site for 6 months: 6 MONTHS and I have never felt this wronged. It boils me up that I could spend so much time thinking and putting effort into things while you shits sit around (probably jerking off to traps or whatever gay shit you like) and make fun of the intellectuals of this world. I've bored you? Good for fucking you. Literally no one cares that your little brain is to underdeveloped and rotted to comprehend my ideaโ€ฆMY GREAT GREAT IDEA. I could sit here all day whining, but I won't. I'm NOT a whiner. I'm a realist and an intellectual. I know when to call it quits and to leave the babybrains to themselves. I'm done with this goddamn site and you goddamn immature children. I have lived my life up until this point having to deal with memesters and idiots like you. I know how you work. I know that you all think you're "epik trolls" but you're not. You think you baited me? NAH. I've never taken any bait. This is my 100% real opinion divorced from anger. I'm calm, I'm serene. I LAUGH when people imply I'm intellectually low enough to take bait. I always choose to reply just to spite you. I won. I've always won. Losing is not in my skillset. So you're probably gonna reply "lol epik trolled" or "u mad bro" but once you've done that you've shown me I've won. I've tricked the trickster and conquered memery. I live everyday growing stronger to fight you plebs and low level trolls who are probably 11 (baby, you gotta be 18 to use 8kun). But whatever, I digress. It's just fucking annoying that I'm never taken serious on this site, goddamn.

>all of your opinions are shit though

I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like itโ€™s a peach of cake.
